I LOVE this place, and I love Cheryl and Jim! I found out how big their hearts are when I directed a play called The Guys to benefit 911 First Responders at Jim’s request.
These two folks are absolutely ACES in my book!
Every time I’ve walked into their shop, I been treated like a king, and the cupcakes, even the special-order gluten free fare, are to die for!
Cheryl and Jim, I hope you guys live forever!
Keep doing what you’re doing, and know that you and your shop are highly appreciated!

I was thinking of ordering some cupcakes and the online menu says there are "vegan options available" but doesn't specify which ones, so I figured I'd give the location a quick call to see if it was specific flavors or if most could be made vegan and potentially place an order. When I called, I was greeted relatively nicely, but when I asked if I could clarify some things about the vegan flavors the woman on the other end started getting very snippy. She told me to ask about specific flavors and she'd tell me if she could make them vegan. No problem, totally fair. The first few I asked about were simple "yes" or "no" from her, but when I asked about red velvet, she said something along the lines of "most people go vegan to cut out stuff. That flavor is just chocolate and red food coloring." I let her know that red food dye doesn't have animal derivatives to my knowledge, and she brought up the "cutting things out" comment again. I respectfully pointed out that I was planning on ordering cupcakes, and after a brief pause she begrudgingly asked if I wanted to know about any other flavors. I asked about a few more and let her know that I'd call back to place an order once I checked in with my family, but based on the other service reviews I'm not sure I'm going to plan on doing that anymore. Based on the tone she gave the red velvet comment was demeaning rather than inquisitive, and I'd rather not subject myself to that kind of conversation again.

Rated 3 because the cupcakes have been good. It does depend in the day you go..Tuesday cupcakes seem left over from the weekend. Fridays are definitely fresher. That being said the gentleman Jim is a treasure but the woman in there (maybe his mom?) Is a mean person. I heard her being nasty to someone on the sidewalk waiting for the bus and the second time I went in she was horrible to someone on the phone. Turned me off to this business 100%. So many new fresh businesses on main st and this lady is line the Mrs Kravitz of the neighborhood
