Outstanding little gem. The server was phenomenal. Friendly, courteous and remembered all orders with no notes to a T. The portions were generous and came with lots of sides. And they serve wine! Wonderful cozy time had by all in this restaurant. If you are coming to UConn or for competitions don't miss it.
I was sadly disappointed in the quality of the food when we visited this weekend. I ordered American Chop Suey with a cup of pasta fagioli soup and a side salad while my wife ordered fried scallops with fries and coleslaw. My soup was over-salted and almost inedible. The salad was outstanding, the best part of the meal. The chop suey was very disappointing. The pasta was mushy and the sauce lacked seasoning and could have used more meat. Looking for a Locals non chain eatery and found it here. We had a Shepherds pie and a meatloaf supper with Greenpeace and mashed potatoes with gravy. They were delivered after we finished our soup and salad. Chicken with rice and a side salad. Everything was tasty, the service was attentive without being bothersome. Portions were such that we each had a second meal and the pricing was fair. Great atmosphere, clean appearance and friendly staff. We will be back a ck.
