Food tasted great. Love the variety they offer. The cornbread is a little on the pricey side given the slice you are given but it tastes great. The meat was juice and tender and well seasoned. Look forward to coming back

There is a 100% chance of delicious food. Never goes bad always amazing. When you can decide where to eat, pick Bears.Don't bother ordering online. You have no priority. You will stand and wait while they serve every other customer. I could have got in line and ordered my order and paid three times as I waited for them to start making my online order that was placed 45 minutes prior. A very disappointing experience.

I got the pulled chicken and it was really good. I was also surprised the sweet tea was so good being this far north.

Usually Bears is a 5/5 in my book. Yesterday however was not the case. I can understand having a bad day at work but to completely ignore and order and chuck food into the fryer is pretty unprofessional. I ordered a three meat, one of which was the wings. I waited roughly 10 minutes before an employee asked what I was waiting for. After another five minutes, I was asked again what I wanted and apparently a miscommunication happened in which nobody was told to cook an order of wings. Due to already waiting 15 minutes which lead to a fourth anniversary spent eating cold BBQ, I asked for kielbasa instead of the wings. The kielbasa was subpar at best. Not sure if it was just an off night for the place but this was not the Bears I'm used to.

I really enjoyed the food! It was the perfect amount and tasted great. The meat was tender and the sides were good. We tried the banana pudding and the apple crisp. Both desserts were very good. If I were in town longer I would definitely eat there again!

The most delicious barbecue you could ever have. Everything is seasoned to perfection with a variety of delicious sauces to boot. Mac attack is my absolute favorite. They offer a variety of other sides, drinks and desserts, including uconn ice cream. Best place to stop before or after traveling.Wheelchair accessibility: Big front ramp

Been hearing about this spot for years, thankful I finally tried it. Can honestly say that it's the best BBQ I've ever had.Got three meat combo, with brisket, pulled pork, and my personal favorite, pork belly burnt ends. Brisket was okay, a Lil dry, pulled pork was best I've ever had, and was my first time trying burnt ends, which practically melt in your mouth.Portons of meat were very good, but the sides were tiny. Delicious mashed sweet potato, but was only a few bites. My ONLY complaint.Service was excellent, and they even have local fountain soda with free refills.Definitely plan to return soon. Lived up to all the hype.

The poutine was good! A moderate meal for 2, plus 2 drinks came out to about $40 which is nice considering the quality of the food.

Bears is a staple in Connecticut for good BBQ. The food is excellent and it’s worth eating and stopping for a meal. The prices have consistently gone up over the years so it is a bit expensive +/- $60 for 2 people without alcohol. The service is a bit lack luster. The meat cutter is always enthusiastic and on point but everyone else is pretty low speed / high drag. They don’t seem to know what’s going on and it takes forever to get your sides. Also it’s kind of gross that they handle your tray with the greasy gloves they just cut the meat with. Before I get to my table I need multiple napkins.
