Toby's 2 Winsted is an authentic Peruvian restaurant, the sister location to another longstanding spot. The food is excellent, flavorful, fresh, abundant, and absolutely delicious. Portions are ample and no joke, so go with an appetite. The prices are very reasonable and fair.

Specific dishes receive high praise. The Lomo Saltado is awesome. The roasted chicken and rice is absolutely delicious. The chicken chaufa rice is one of the best Peruvian chaufa's ever had. Appetizers like the fried cassava with a cheese sauce and the yucca are very tasty and will hook you. The seafood soup has a very rich broth with a lot of seafood. The Trio Marino includes cerviche that is right on, very crispy fried calamari, and tasty shrimp with Peruvian rice.

The location is relatively new and currently has no liquor license and no atmosphere. However, the staff is great and always pleasant. The food is so good it feels like a gift, and customers strongly recommend it, planning to return to try more of the menu.
