I don’t even know where to begin so let me start by saying that I am very particular and definitely not the easiest person to please. My wedding was literally PERFECT and I can’t thank Birchwoods enough! Not only did Trish completely nail my vision for the wedding but she went above and beyond to see me happy. The food was amazing and the DJ + photographer did not disappoint. I couldn’t be happier & will definitely host more events there in the future.

Thank you to Birchwood’s at Oak Lane for helping to make my daughter’s bridal shower the perfect day. Throughout the planning process Trish was so helpful and responded quickly to all my emails when I had questions. The day of the shower Trish and her staff were extremely helpful with any requests we had when setting up the room for our event. The breakfast buffet food was excellent the the staff provided top notch service during our event. I would recommend Birchwood’s and working with Trish for any of your events!

It's hard to sum up in words how much I loved Trish and the Birchwoods staff/overall experience after having my wedding there on 10/7/22. From the very beginning, Trish gave us that "mom-like" vibe that instantly made us feel so comfortable. We didn't find that while looking at other venues. The entire package at Birchwoods cannot be beat, and they are the literal DREAM TEAM. Because they all are so used to working together (They are family after all), the wedding night ran so smoothly that I didn't have absolutely anything to worry about the day of. Our wedding was perfect because of this beautiful place with some of the most beautiful people I have ever worked with. Thank you all for making our day so special. We will never forget the big impact that you had on our day!!

Trish and the rest of the Birchwoods staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect- from setting up all of our decor, to meeting all of our dietary needs, to constantly having a drink or appetizer available to us even when we were taking pictures, they knew exactly how to make our day go smoothly even with two brides and lots of family! They did everything they could to put our minds at ease and make our day feel important and special. We have nothing but positive things to say and would hire them again in a minute. You will NOT regret having your event at Birchwoods.

We had our wedding recently at the Birchwoods and they went above and beyond to make our wedding more perfect than we could have ever imagined! Trish and her staff were absolutely amazing and super accommodating! They helped make the night go so smoothly and we were able to fully enjoy the night without any worries. Trish made the entire process so easy from the original tour, to booking, to planning, and the actual day of. The room looked absolutely stunning when we walked in! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We’ll be recommending the Birchwoods to everyone we know getting married or in need of a hall for an event!

I attended a baby shower here a few weeks ago and I cannot say enough about this venue! It’s always a breath of fresh air to walk in somewhere and notice how clean and put together a venue is!! The wait staff were all so kind and accommodating! Food was fabulous! The green goddess salad dressing literally could’ve been in a wine glass and I would’ve been satisfied! Highly recommended!!!! Book now if you’re on the fence… trust me
Growing up in Woodbridge, this golf club was private so never had the opportunity to play. Facilities are in good condition and pro shop was nice. We played full 18 holes and the first hole is a nice challenge to begin the game. The middle holes are really nice and good mix of par 3's. A few holes were rough, but being late in season, understandable. Will be playing her next season.

I have played here multiple times, they are always making improvements every year it gets better. Entire staff is great, course is well maintained, rates are reasonable. The owner is always nice and welcoming. The entire staff is great, friendly and helpful , I highly reccomend trying this course. The restaurant is also nice, food, is good staff is always friendly as well.

For my birthday, I received a gift card to the Traditions Golf Club under false pretenses. I told my sister that I wanted golf lessons for my birthday, and after speaking to a representative of Traditions, it was indicated to her that a gift card would allow me to book those lessons on my time. When I called to book the lessons, I was told that I could not use the gift card to do so. So they lied to my sister. My sister then disputed the charge because she felt lied to. On the morning of April 29th Gina, the owner and manager, called ME because of the charge back, not my sister the card holder. I calmly told her the reason for it. She then barked back that I was making a lot of paperwork for her. I calmly told her to speak to my sister and hung up the phone. She then called back and yelled at me that we were wasting her time with all of this paperwork. I then told her that she was wasting both our time talking to me and that i would be hanging up the phone (speaking over her) and then proceeded to do so. She then called back again, and I told her that I had just spoke to my sister to reach out, but Gina interrupted me to tell me this wasn't a conversation, that she was releasing the charge and that my sister would have to call her to get her refund (which is what I was trying to tell her what would happen) and then hung up on me. I then called Gina back and explained that we were going to keep the charge dispute, and that she should have fun dealing with Amex. We were willing to help her out but she was acting very unprofessionally. I will NEVER spend a dime at this golf course, and will instruct everyone I know to stay away. You think the owner of such a renowned and praised course would have a little class, but no, none at all.
