This is a very tiny shop, but they have seating outside for the warmer weather. Ovens Of France is the best bakery outside of those one might find in Greenwich, CT. I live in Guilford, and it's worth the trip to Woodbury to buy their products. Try the chocolate mousse cake. It's the absolute best. I buy one and freeze slices, it lasts for months. The eclaires don't have overly sweet pudding in the center but a rich cream. The croissants are like nothing you'll ever find elsewhere. They open early, like 6am, for early birds.Parking: They are in a shopping center. The parking is always plentiful and close.

Love the croissants when they are fresh .Sometimes they seem harder than usual though. Also ,The size varies a lot. Sometimes they are so tiny , sometimes bigger - for the same price. Please consider this review. Thank you

They had amazing homemade soups and gluten-free dessert options. It was the best cheesecake and creme Brulee I think I ever had.

We tried the almond croissant, ham &cheese croissant and raisin walnut bread. The croissants were disappointment. I like light, crispy, buttery, flaky croissants. This croissants were very chewy and tough, I could not eat them. I will not get any pastries from them anymore. The walnut raisin bread was okay. I with it had more walnuts.

Disappointed STALE CROISSANTS - It came recommended by a friend as I am French and I miss French pastries. Went there on a Sunday morning @ 10am about 3 weeks ago. We bought two almond croissants, a plain croissant and a ham and cheese croissant and two coffees. The croissants were stale. Only the ham and cheese was good. Coffee was ok. Priced reasonably - Might have to try again a different day to see if it was just unlucky.

The Ovens of France is truly a desert lovers Paradise. The Ham and Cheese Croissants are the best. I haven't had a Croissant that compares to the Ham and Cheese Croissants from Zabars on Broadway and 80th Street in Manhattan. Until I tried the ones at Ovens of France. You can't go wrong with this incredibly good Bakery. It is worth the drive. I am in the Danbury area and I drive there when I want a special treat.

Love love the chocolate mousse cake! Very rich but worth every bite. Haven't had anything else from there yet but their whole display case looked amazing

The best croissants!!! The, layers, the butter, the crumb. Go with a friend or two so you can taste the plane and a chocolate almond or one if there stuffed Croissants, so delicious while you're there. Have a cappuccino or espresso. Just enjoy yourself. These are so good they should be eaten slowly. Yummy!!!

The croissants were so perfectly flakey they were absolutely to die for. Worth a special trip! The coffee was a wonderful surprise as well - so smooth and paired with a croissant made for the delightful breakfast each morning we were in town!

We had to come to Woodbury on Sunday morning from Morris Ct to give blood at the Woodbury Senior Center. We decided to stop at Ovens of France for Coffee, and 2 fresh croissants !! The croissants must have been from yesterday as they were STALE . Very disappointed.

Our coconut cream birthday cake was generous in size, not too sweet and was more cream than cake. The frosting was covered in dried coconut. It served 10 celebrants with lots for the next day.
