Our server was great. She was very busy with a party of 19 on the other side. The food however, was very disappointing. I think they may have been short-staffed in the kitchen. Ordered calamari as an appetizer and as soon as it came out, I knew it would not be good. Calamari sat in the window for 3 bell rings..the calamari was all rings...I like a mix of tentacles and rings. It was overcooked, tasted frozen and banana peppers were cold. Strike one...server was still excellent. Next, ordered mushroom and swiss burger cooked medium rare. Burger came with lettuce and tomato..what? ...and was cooked well done, tasted burnt..I could not eat it. My sister ordered an authentic gyro with freshly carved beef and lamb...it was cold and definitely did not look authentic...all in all, service was great but the food found me wanting....i left hungry. I will not return 😞

The Tavern has changed since its opening. Burgers never cooked according to my preference when ordered and wings so dry. Saw individuals enter kitchen through side door that made me uncomfortable concerning health/contamination issues.
The server tonight at the bar was great! Atmosphere is also great…Unfortunately the fajitas here are terrible. My fault for ordering fajitas in a Greek oriented restaurant, but they should probably take them off the menu if they’re this bad.

The only positive for me was that our waitress was very patient. I ordered the smash burger. It was not a smash burger. It was two thin hamburger patties that tasted like Salisbury steak. The cheese was reminiscent of velveeta. It was not good. Sadly, I only ate half of it. The French fries had no taste at all. Definitely not worth the $18 I paid for the meal. I do not recommend. The prices overall seemed high.
