Fun lively bar inside the JW Marriott. Special thanks to both Jamie & Fitsum who were so friendly and made everyone who came in feel welcome!

Very meh, especially for the price. We hit this stop in our hotel after a long travel day, excited for some delicious food and to try the famous Gin Rickey. The portions were super small, the flavor only okay and the service was subpar. I had to walk to the bar to order a soda for my son after asking my server multiple times. The bartender didn’t know what a starry was, even though it was listed on the menu. The Gin Rickey tasted like someone just squeezed a lime into a glass. Not at all worth it. The hotel gave me a food and beverage credit, but I’ll go back to use on a beer or wine. Not a great place if you’re looking for great meal and great service.

The breakfast food was excellent, with a wide variety of breakfast items. The chef at the Omelet station did an excellent job of preparing the omelets and other foods for our group.
The drinks are really good. The Sage Advice was one of the best adult drinks I've had at a bar, and the food was all good. Instead of mains, my wife and I split three starters-- the meatballs were quite good, just enough sauce, with a rough bread; the pretzel bites were warm and had a wonderful buffalo dipping sauce; and the charcuterie board was appreciated by both of us despite our differing opinions on what makes a good board. The waiter was a bit hesitant on knowing what the bar could do, but they were able to make a good Paper Plane and Bloody Mary when asked. It was all about $120, which is average for hotel bars in this part of town. We had to wait for our final bill just a bit due to volume on a Sunday night with a big convention there, so not suprising. I'd go back happily.
We elected to go with the buffet, which was delicious. The breakfast buffet was worth it for the price and the service was very efficient and nice. The array of foods and condiments were bountiful. There was everything from cereal, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, toast, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, and more. I will defiantly be back!
The service was poor, the waitress could care less that we there, basically ignored us. Could not be found for water or the check. The hotel and restaurant are in need of updating very worn out
Went for breakfast to use hotel credit. Decided to get the buffet as a better deal. The omelet was good bc it was made fresh. Scrambled eggs and bacon were good but potatoes were not good and the biscuits for the biscuits with gravy were hard. There were no pancakes so we had to order those a la cart. Coffee was meh. Expected better quality for a JW.
Stopped for a quick bite. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with kimchi aioli and fries. Great food, way better than I would expect from a hotel bar. Definitely would grab food here again in the future.
I came here while waiting for my name to be called at the Hamilton and had a very nice cocktail but unfortunately did not write down its name (or, to be fair - did write it down but can’t remember where). It had basil-infused bourbon with passion fruit juice. It was delicious.

Worn out decor, unremarkable food and indifferent service. The only thing they seem to want to maximize is price.
We stopped into this bar before a show at the National Theater. Nice spot for a quick drink. Manager was very accommodating.

The hostess said they don't take reservations on weekends even though I made one on OpenTable...so, we had to wait about 30 minutes. Disappointing...but the breakfast was decent.
My recommendation: The Avenue cocktail 18$

No one waited on us or offered us waters after 15 minutes of waiting, so we left. Terrible!
