I have stayed in countless hotels and nights, in almost all of the brands in the Marriott brand portfolio. The amazing service that I received at this Westin during my stay surpassed even my stays from the Ritz Carlton. I'll provide a thorough review of my experience at this hotel during May 2021. I encountered a rather significant service lapse during my stay which would under normal circumstances warrant a bad review, however the hotel staff, specifically Estela made up for it and more. I stayed here for 3 nights with my mother over a weekend and initially was booked into a standard room, but was generously upgraded to a 2 bed studio suite (I needed 2 beds, the suites here only have 1 bed). Chat Feature: Requested extra amenities and extra pillows prior to my arrival, and they were waiting for me when I arrived (no need to ask again!) Parking: Parking is Valet only and is quick and super convenient. You park your car in the front and I had no issues getting my car within 5 min of calling the front desk when it was needed. Check In: I was checked in with Estela, and this was where the service shown. I advised that it was a special occasion for my mom and if she could recommend any restaurants that had last minute reservations. To my surprise, she offered to get us reservations at a nice restaurant (RPM) and was able to follow up via email on the details. Wow! Very proactive. Room: The rooms are extremely clean and of generous size. Many of the rooms face the atrium but this is actually a great thing for light sleepers: it means that most rooms are whisper quiet and you can get a good nights sleep. The studio suites have outside views, as well as some rooms so if this is important to you, make sure to request or book a different category. During my first night, a pipe in the closet was leaking and as a result, the entire closet was wet, as was all my clothes that were hanging in the closet. I had an important event and when i advised the front desk, they immediately sent someone up to fix it, dry cleaned my clothes for free, and make sure I had a set of clothes ready in 20 min in time for my event. Estella and her team made sure I was taken care of. i was offered bonus points and free parking for my inconvenience and they promptly fixed the issue in the room. I was frequently checked up on, given more amenities, and upon check out, received a thank you and apology note with a chocolate box from Estella as a farewell. Food: Closed, so no free breakfast for elites. However, they have a small market and a microwave that people can use. There are lots of local restaurants within walking distance and a CVS around the corner for snacks and supplies. Gym: Generously sized - as expected for a Westin. They have a variety of machines and dumbbells and other equipment. There are even a couple pelotons. Reservations are not required and during my 3 trips to the gym in the evening, I was the only one there. Filtered Water, towels, and sanitizing wipes are available for use in the gym. Housekeeping: Is available on request only. They will clean the room if you ask and will send up any towels, amenities, etc that you need. Overall, this stay, although there was an issue in the room, was 5 stars because of the service provided by Estela. She truly needs to be promoted to be the brand standard when giving service to customers. I felt like I was the only one staying in the hotel , even though she likely helps hundreds of folks everyday.

Awesome stay. So many helpful tips from Raihan and the rest of the staff. The rooms were nice and clean. I was able to connect my apple TV after calling the IT department. Will be staying here again in the future.

We were In DC for one night visiting our daughter. Estela made our trip the best! She listened closely to my covid concerns and was sure to accommodate my requests. I cannot tell you how easy she made our stay. The room was comfortable and location of hotel convenient. Estela's kind personality was really the outstanding feature of the visit and made the hotel stay just great. We will be going back in June! It's rare to find such a caring and good employee who really goes the extra mile. But, Estela Sunga is that person!!

From the moment I arrived at the Westin, I felt at home! I was greeted warmly by the valet and the host on duty. Throughout my stay, I was able to get my questions answered -- from places to eat to sights to see. My room was comfortable and the house-keeping staff always greeted me with a smile. I heartily recommend the Westin DC to anyone looking to get away on business or for some personal rest and relaxation. Ask for Dionne (front office manager; you'll be glad you did!)

My boyfriend made a reservation to surprise me since I've been under a lot of pressure from work. He thought it will be good for us to get away from our apartment for the weekend and it was the best idea ever! We were greeted and checked in by Jenny and she was very polite, friendly and very helpful! Our room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable! We will be back when the weather gets little warm so we can experience the Cherry Blossom in the city!

The hotel is located in a great locations. We were easily able to walk the city and see the local sites. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend the Westin! I'll definitely return the next time I'm in DC.

Overall quite decent stay, comfortable and staffs have always been friendly and supportive. Husband and I love the location, the view and the room. Reasonable prices and we will definitely come back again.

I stayed at the Westin DC City Center as a little getaway for a weekend of some good, old-fashioned self-care. As we all need to, I needed an escape from my home and the Westin DC City Center provided a comfortable experience that exceeded my expectations. My accommodations were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the atrium view from my room, as well as the in-room dining experience. From the friendly greetings of the Front Desk staff to housekeeping - everyone I encountered made my stay enjoyable. I want to take the moment to voice my gratitude, because this is not an easy time for anyone. Too often, our hospitality warriors go unappreciated so be sure to thank them when you have a chance.

Staying in the hotel and stopped in for the breakfast buffet. Food wasn't bad, but $29/pp + taxes and gratuity for breakfast is extortion, even by DC standards. Be aware of the unwarranted cost before you sit down. Plenty of other good options in the neighborhood in walking distance.
