We dined here for my husband's birthday, as it's his favorite. Our server was Tim and he was very attentive and friendly. I had the gazpacho and lamb and both were delicious. The gazpacho included several large, sweet shrimp that were almost a second starter. The lamb was cooked perfectly and paired with very complementary sides. I've eaten at 1789 for decades and it is always a treasure. Excellent food, service and ambience. We celebrated my birthday in style with Dover sole, juicy pork chops and their famous rack of lamb and wonderful Sauvignon Blanc and Red Burgundy wines. Thank you, 1789 for another memorable experience!
