This is a very casual welcome addition to the Tenleytown area.
Using the touch screens to order dinner was a new thing for my husband and me. It was very intuitive but a nice staff member came over to make sure we were able to complete all parts of the transaction.
You pick your food from the very easy-to-see menu touch screens at the front and pay for your meal. Then pick out what table you want. Our food was very well prepared and the servers were nice and attentive.
I will go back!

Disappointing & pricey. The scallion pancakes, very oily; the pork main course, tough & excessively salty. Decor attractive & service prompt.

I've been eagerly anticipating this place opening, and it did not disappoint! I had the miso ramen which had a rich and savory broth, plus well-prepared toppings including pork slices. I plan on going through the entire menu in the coming days with excitement. A great addition to the other eateries in Tenleytown!
Update 10/25:
The grilled pork is amazing!

This was a bizarre experience. No one said a word to me when I entered. The whole restaurant was practically empty, besides an employee and a customer sitting at a table. I saw a self service kiosk and assumed I had to order myself. I ordered the miso ramen and coconut water. After waiting for my food, a person arrives with food I didn't order. We have table numbers, so I am not sure as to why there was confusion. I try to let the person know, but they ignore me and hand off my food to the one other customer in the restaurant. They somewhat quickly realized their error and gave us our food. I also had to look for myself where the utensils were, they at the back of the restaurant. In my opinion, the ramen wasn't exactly to my liking. The broth was good, pork chashu was a bit dry, and the rest of the ingredients didn't really mesh with the broth. After leaving and on my way home, I realized that I was never given my coconut water that I ordered. Not really interested in coming back

First time coming in on a gray cold day, and their soup was just the thing I needed! I really enjoyed the self-order kiosk, as well as the unique black and white theme of the establishment. It was very quiet and the food was incredible. I will reccomend this place to all of my friends, especially when we get closer to the winter season.

Self serve at a new level. But they do ask for a tip. Food was below average. Dumplings were a little plastic sticky and dry. Soup was bland. Spring rolls were greasy. Overall, disappointing.

Really nice atmosphere and vibe in general! Despite the overly white furniture and walls they have the lights on a low light which I appreciate.
Got ramen and Vietnamese coffee! It was really good. I’ve had better Viet coffee but this one was still solid. A little less sweet than what I am used to.
The ramen was amazing. Broth was at the right level of saltiness and savory. The roasted pork was out of this world! If I could eat that alone with rice I would. Decent serving size too.
A little bit on the pricier end but very much worth it! Would def come again.

I've been to this place a few times now. Their ramen is ok. Nothing spectacular. Their bubble tea is usually pretty good. Although the last time I got it their tapioca was crunchy. Maybe it was dried out or too old? The restaurant theme was also interesting.

Found my go-to spot near the Tenleytown metro! This place is a delight. Food is high quality, good value for money, staff are kind and helpful, and the restaurant setting is cute. I tried the miso ramen and Vietnamese spring rolls; both were delicious. I’m coming back and will try the dumplings next.

Me and my party got a variety of items since it is most of our first time visiting dc. First, walking into the restaurant it was completely empty aside from the hostess and the teenager making the drinks. Then, we had to serve and seat ourselves (which in itself isn’t a problem) but the price of the food should reflect that. The food was decent aside from the chicken coming out almost frozen and had to sit in the broth for at least 5 minutes for it to a reasonable amount of warmth for consumption. The additional chicken I ordered was also equally as cold and unseasoned as what was served in my ramen bowl.
Additionally, mine and my friend’s milk tea boba came out at a reasonable time along with our food, but my other friends had to wait 20+ minutes after we got our drinks. They waited because friends (as it appeared) of the staff came in and got their drinks made immediately and they also appeared to not pay for these. However, we aren’t completely certain because we were seated farther away. this happened on 9/16 and If it were me, I would talk to the employees about putting others orders before walk ins. Aside from this, they were polite overall.
The woman who brought out our food from the kitchen did a good job and was polite. It would be nice to have at least one server since it seems to be a slow location.
The walls were cute but the other issues with this experience kind of soured the outing, especially since it was for a birthday.
Another annoying thing with the drinks is that the regular and large cups are almost identical in size and maybe only off by 4oz MAX. I have attached a video demonstrating that below. It is not worth the near $1.50 upcharge.
If I came to dc again I would not visit again since there are so many other nice restaurants in the area.
