Lemongrass chicken was okay, I would say Ive had better lemongrass chicken from other restaurants however, their price was very reasonable. Mango smoothie was mid at most, it tasted very artificial so I wouldn’t recommend their smoothies.

Tasted okay, pho was good. Atmosphere was kind of nice but awkward since you order at the front and no one really serves you other than bringing out the food

Fine Vietnamese restaurant in Washington DC. Beef Pho was a bit greasy!

Dry Vermicelli and old, dry, pork in one dish.
Spring Roll dipping sauce was sludgy, more the consistency of peanut butter
Slushes and boba drink had little flavor.
Asked for extra dishes. Said they didn’t have any.

Was awful.

The pho ga was so oily that I could see it floating in the broth, and I felt it on my lips when I finished eating. Summer rolls were pretty bland, but the coconut slushy boba was good.

First off, the food here is amazing. Fair prices and great portion sizes. Very casual dining. You come in sit down with the menu and order at the front and they bring the food to you. I had the wintermelon milk tea and that was amazing too. Servers could be a smidgen friendlier/welcoming. But im here for the food and the food was amazing. Stop by here and you wont regret it.

Decent food taste, tried combination pho, red curry was delicious but spicy, lemon grass beef vermicelli was decent but sauce was limited. Order and pay up front, partial service.

I’ve only ordered from them on Grubhub but will be coming to try them in person soon! I’m always craving Vietnamese food and this place is a favorite of mine! I get delicious food every time that is authentic, has large portions, and is fresh for a reasonable price 😊

So phie

The noodles were good! But they added cilantro to it - which wasn't mentioned on the menu (and I don't like it).
Same with the summer rolls.

I always get the pho tai with extra veggies. However, I’m writing this while I eat a disappointing bowl of pho from another restaurant, because 54 restaurant is closed, and I’m so sad at this bowl. 54’s broth is so good, and I love the extra veggies. The bowl from the other restaurant tastes only of regret. Honestly the only pho places in DC that do it for me anymore are pho viet in Columbia heights and 54 restaurant. Everywhere else has been a complete miss.

Order from 54 and enjoy. I certainly wish I could have tonight.

Note to self - don’t order a Bahn Mi sandwich from a restaurant named “Pho 54”… Its like ordering a hamburger from a salad shop.

I ordered the pork Bahn Mi and while the flavor profile was good the characteristics were all wrong. Baguette was completely soft instead of a crisp exterior. Pork was not sliced thin and felt heavy and chewy. And even though I asked to make sure the sandwich included jalapeños, the kitchen omitted them..!

Now the Pho looked amazing as I saw the chef removing massive dinosaur-like bones from the broth. I’ll try that next time..!

Pho meat options were weirdly limited, and for the price (pho is usually much cheaper in my experience) the broth and the meat both lacked flavor, even some sriracha couldn’t bring it up to satisfaction. Environment was busy and lacked privacy for us, and we had to repeat our order a few times to the servers since they kept forgetting. When it did come (and it came very fast!) the waitress seemed either in a rush or just like she didn’t like us. If you’re strapped for options this place is fine, but I wouldn’t make a destination out of it.
