Drinks are good. Service is terrible and laughable. This restaurant is the perfect example of why automatic gratuity should not be added. The drinks take so long and if your ask about it they'll take their sweet time.... the bartender and staff were totally weirdos. The music was so good though.

The atmosphere & decoration in here is great but the drinks were not. The staff was not welcoming at all & it was the worst espresso martini I’ve ever had. Top it off with the server not making it known that there is an auto gratuity when paying, only showing the tip screen after tapping our card so we tipped on top of that. Of course when you try to call to dispute this their number is conveniently out of service. Ridiculous

Yall gotta get some working AC when it’s 95 outside, or give us a discount for being cooked alive. Service was slow even though we were the only ones there. Live music was cool but drinks were lackluster. A shadow of its former self.

Edit: I can see from other reviews they were lying about the AC “just breaking today,” it has been broken for at least a week. Avoid!

The cocktails were pretty good but service was lacking and the prices were high even for DC. Due to the small size of the venue you have to make a reservation. It was cool to find as it has a semi hidden entrance.

Sad to say that all charm has gone from this place. We arrived and the host/manager was extremely rude. We were finally seated, ordered, and waited for over 30 minutes. The manager told us it was obvious that we would have to wait that long. “What did you expect?” The manager then served the party behind us complimentary shots and took photos and videos for them. It’s clearly become a bar more about the look than the experience. If you want to wait more than 40 minutes to pay $20 for a drink this is the place for you.

I’ve gone here several times and have generally had a decent experience- it is a small and somewhat cramped but stylish bar. The bartenders know what they are doing and there is a good variety of well made cocktails. The jazz band is cool, but there’s really not enough space for it here considering the small size of the bar.

So the bar has some good points, but I won’t go again after my encounter with the host (or is he the manager?) tonight- he was very rude to me and my friend for no reason. He wasn’t doing his job helping people find a table when they arrived, but then he angrily told us to move from a table for a reservation (even though we had a reservation). He justified it saying there was a larger party but it turned out the “larger party” was just two girls. He reluctantly let us sit at the bar, like he was doing us a giant favor. But besides this guy’s bad attitude, the service from the bar was very slow, and they need to get their AC or fans to work - the place was an oven tonight. Just not worth the pricey drinks. There are much better bars in the neighborhood.

We came here for the “Sips & Giggles” comedy night and it was so much fun. We had drinks that were really well made and came out fast, and the atmosphere feels really cozy and intimate—great to go with your partner or some close friends.

From the hidden subterranean setting to watching the talented mixologist putting on a show while creating inventive cocktails, this dank little crypt of a bar is a whole experience not to be missed!

Fantastic Cocktails and the new renovations to the back patio look great!

This is a charming bar with moody speak-easy-esq vibes. I was here for an art opening and the White Negroni was delicious. Always love to support a place that is supporting local artists!

Heads up if they sit you in the back where you will get blasted by the one speaker I would just leave and take the 50 bucks reservation hit.

You might wonder how the entire place could be evenly covered by a single speaker. Well it can't and being forced to sit under it might be a new form of torture. The only time you can hear yourself think are the jarring moments of silence when the bartender walks outside the Bluetooth range.

To be fair the look of the place is nice and it's more of a speakeasy than Capo Deli at 1am. If they sit you by the entrance or there's live music it could be great, but for 7pm drinks we would have been better off at Dan's Cafe. I've legitimately had more intimate conversations while dancing on the second floor of Madam's Organ. For a speakeasy experience OKPB or Side Door are probably what you are looking for.

I went to 600T with a friend for the first time on a Thursday afternoon. We arrived at 6 pm as per our reservation time and had a great time (nice vibe, good food and decent snacks), but then we were told to leave at 19:30 as they needed to sit another couple on our bar stools. So we missed the jazz performance and we were planning on having more drinks. There was no information anywhere on Resy or on the confirmation email informing there would be a 90 minute limit. I just simulated another reservation on Resy and nowhere was the time limit indicated. Very disappointing, despite the place and cocktails being nice and tasty

I went to 600T last night for the first time. It’s an elegant and lovely speakeasy. I was pleasantly impressed by the attention to detail in their drinks selection, the high quality service, and the interesting clientele. Highly recommend!

I’m mostly commenting because I had a reservation and have been trying to reach them but no luck. The number listed on Google is not a functional number. How can I speak to an actual person and not have to cancel on Resy? I’d like to request a refund for the cancellation fee since id been trying to reach out but you aren’t providing any contact info.

The vibe of this place was super cute. It is a little hard to find, especially in the night, because it is basement level and doesn’t have a well-lit sign. We booked a reservation outside but it was super chilly so the host graciously was able to find us a table inside. We ordered the house dirty martini and the TB & J. Both were delicious and served in chilled glasses with nice ice, which I loved! However, I did not prefer the garnishes for either. The olives for the house dirty were particularly bad olives and the dried apricot for the TB&J was delicious, but I didn’t feel compliment the drink well. Overall, I would come again and either reorder the same or try something new!
