I really like the mocha and smoothies from here. Great coffee here as well. However, they could consider having more space in the cafe, especially with the popularity of the Eastern Market.

I was charged 4 times for two coffees as the person at the register said my card wasn't going through. It went through fine... it turns out their credit card machine was just out of paper. I have had zero luck locating a manager to get this taken care of. Extremely displeased.

the woman who took my order made the wrong drink, I kindly corrected her and asked for my original order and she told me I ordered it wrong the first time and rolled her eyes...she also yelled out my new drink in a very condescending tone when it was ready. just super rude and don't think I'll be back. Sad because I really liked coming here

Food is elementary field trip lunch at best. The smoothie was clearly made w syrup and not fruit. Very subpar. Service was rude and inattentive.

One of the worst coffee places I have ever been. The employees are rude. I asked for an itemized receipt because I'm on a business trip and they refused to give me one. The coffee and pastries were not great but also not horrible. I asked for the wifi password and I was able to connect to the network but the network itself didn't have internet connection. I ended up leaving, very annoyed.

I order an iced honeydew latte, which was good but I asked for light ice and they did not give me a light iced latte they put so much ice. I paid for more ice, than actual latte.
I like this place because it is the only cafe in Capitol Hill besides Starbucks with a decent ambiance for working, but the service sucks. I always feel like I am bothering them if I order something or ask for the wifi password, etc. Food is mediocre but prices are good.

Great iced decaf coffee that's been steeped and chilled which takes the bitterness and acid out of it, and it was a treat !! It's also the most reasonably priced coffee on the hill ... worth a stop in if everywhere else is slammed on the weekends !

Cute little place. But honestly it was a little dirty (garbage and crumbs all over the furniture and floor). Chai latte was just okay, not much flavor. Especially for the price :/ I HATE being someone to complain about employees but the staff made me feel unwelcome. The music is actually really loud but that I care less about. I just wouldn’t recommend not having your own ear buds lol. Basically I probably wouldn’t visit again. The muffins DID look reallly good though so I would consider grabbing one of those if I was hungry and on the way to somewhere else.

I went into this cafe for the first time today while perusing the Eastern Market festivities. The male cashier just stared at me blankly, instead of owning his position and offering a greeting like "Good morning, what can I get started for you?". Something to show he was ready to take my order. And when I asked my sandwich to go, the woman rolled her eyes, like it was really a problem. Really? Based on customer interaction alone, I won't patronize this place again.
