Review – January 11, 2026 (Afternoon / Brunch)
Stopped in during the afternoon and caught the brunch service. My burger order came out with home fries instead of French fries, which appeared to happen because staff were distracted watching a soccer game on the television.

The food was just okay overall. The grilled chicken salad was under-seasoned, and while the espresso martini and rum punch were acceptable, nothing stood out.

Between the mix-up and lack of attention to detail, this wasn’t a great experience, and I wouldn’t return.

Great fresh food.

We hosted an event for about 85 people at the 801 rooftop and it was perfect! Rob was so communicative, professional, and easygoing. He helped us adjust when we had some changes in the head count and he truly made the process so easy! The rooftop was decorated so nicely, drinks were cheap and good, and the service was excellent. Shoutout to Kevin for excellent bartending! And Sean for checking ids! And of course Dj DJ! I definitely recommend for your next event.

The slow cooked beef tacos are to die for! Think taco-french-dip! Hubby got the fajitas, so good! Our server was busy but attentive!! We will be back!

I made a last minute reservation pretty easily and it wasn't super busy, we came here on Sunday at 11:30 AM. We did have issues finding parking but it is street parking, not sure if there are any parking garages in the area.

The reservation was made for the 1st floor but they didnt have issues moving us to the 2nd floor and it was so cute. There were string lights and good music. I ordered the Rubber Ducky cocktail which was super cute but not super tasty. We did ended up with getting the bottomless $28 cocktail/mimosa. My friend did the espresso martini but it seemed to missing something. The mimosas came with three different juices, orange, strawberry and peach, all delicious. For brunch, I ordered the Brunch Skillet which was delicious and had a very good spice kick. My friend got the 801 Breakfast Sandwich. It looked pretty good. Overall, we had a great time and they didn't rush us at all but the service was just a little slow, seemed like it was just 2 bartenders and I did wish they checked on us a little more but otherwise a good experience.

We walked in at 5pm on a Saturday evening and there wasn't a line or wait at all to get seating at the rooftop bar. We got seats with a great view & the food was great. The service was good as well. We liked the music & the crowd of people there were all polite. It's a nice DC hangout location.

Drinks are pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for. Rooftop terrace is cool and could watch the baseball game.

Wow wow wow! Brunch here during pride month was amazing! The steak and eggs and breakfast skillets are both really good. Can never go wrong with unlimited mimosas too.
