OMG, where do I start? This place is an absolute GEM. Service is incredible and the space/ambiance is top notch. Loved the music and vibe they created. Literally everything we ordered was incredible: - Goat/cheese/herb biscuit sammie: this was one of the best egg biscuit sandwiches I've ever had in my life, no joke - Turmeric labneh toast: delicious, light and unique flavors - the juice + lattes were amazing - Baked cookies: we got 3-4 varieties and they were so so so good. my favorite was the espresso chocolate cookie I can't wait to come back to DC and eat at this place again!

This was a new spot for me but I will definitely be back! I stopped in for lunch with friends and everything was delicious, service was fast, and the atmosphere was great. Try the fried green onion sandwich!

Came here around 2:30 pm on a Sunday. The inside is very cute and modern. There's industrial architecture but the ceilings are so high and front windows are so big that there is a lot of natural light. Of course as you move farther back into the restaurant, it gets darker and there were many individuals working quietly. However the big table by the front had a large and loud group, so I think this place works great for both working independently (it is a cafe after all) and for socializing. There wasn't much of a line, and it was nice that their sweet treats were in display. I also liked their assortment of tinned seafood and olive oils! The place I known for their bread and their sister restaurant is Baked & Wired in Georgetown. I decided to get the house made horchata and the griddle short rib Sammie. The employee taking my order discovered that they were out of horchata so I decided to get the house made nut milk instead (I think it was pecan w/ other flavors). I was a little disappointed in the drink. It didn't have much other flavor, just tasted like a plain nut milk. I probably would have liked the horchata more. The sandwich was really yummy! Although a bit heavy, the sweet and savory onions went well with the crunchy bread and moist short rib. I would be willing to try their other items on the menu. Not a bad place to stop by. Very cute inside and seems like a popular spot to work or meet up. Would come again if I was nearby.

Such a cool little coffee shop. Great ambiance & lots of space. Had a great avocado toast.

A really spacious spot! Stopped by after spending a day in DC, baked goods looked delicious but opted for the chicken rice soup and a breakfast sandwich. The soup was hot and paired well with the baguette it came with - typically I've been this soup with a thicker creamer make but I enjoyed this one too. The sandwich was like a torta - egg, cheese, and lots of bacon! Really delicious but a bit oily for me. It was my first time at this spot so I asked the cashier a few questions about the menu and she was very kind, offering suggestions and substitutions. Looked like a wonderful spot for working or meeting with friends!

This warm and beautiful cafe is located in Washington DC, it is an excellent choice for breakfasts and brunches. With a different decoration, it is very crowded but has different spaces to enjoy an excellent cappuccino and at a great price. Their breads are made by hand and with organic products, simply delicious. The service and attention was very good. Recommended 100% ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came here a few years ago before I moved to the West Coast and I have yet to stop thinking about the salmon with fried capers. Need Baked & Wired over here

I really liked the place, the atmosphere with music and space to talk, the service was quick to take the food order, everyone was very friendly. The food is normal, if you come with normal expectations, nothing out of this world, I expected the coffee to be stronger, have more consistency or perhaps the milk they used made the cappuccino not the best.

Do not recommend. The cupcake was good & so was their over priced toast. The drinks were not great at all, like most of you glancing on the menu I was excited to try their milk alternatives… hardly drinkable. We tried both horchata & honey pecan… they forgot to initially make the horchata we had to remind them. The service was lackluster. The cafe was quite busy, if you’re looking for a place to sit and enjoy this probably won’t be it. DC has a lot of great options, try somewhere else.

Had the Lebrna toast and avocado toast - both were great. The iced coffee drinks had too much ice for us but were otherwise good. On a Sunday morning the place was packed but even with a line when we finished ordering we were able to grab a seat. Great atmosphere; we'll be back.

Cookie was ok. Chocolate chip had a nice chew to it for a thin cookie. Ginger Pumpkin Bread was recommended was ok. Moist with good flavors, frosting a bit sweet if not portioned properly with bread under it. Vanilla latte with almond milk solid. My rating came from the long wait and poor attention to a patron (me) who was waiting 23 minutes in the standing table. I ordered a pour over (poor over I guess) and the dude in the glasses took close to 20 minutes to "finish" my drink. I asked the blonde lady with the glasses and tattoos (who called out everything with really good Spanish accent) if I can check on my order about 12 minutes in because I see the Pour Over beaker sitting on the scale with coffee filter and grounds placed into it. It was weighed but I guess they were waiting for the kettle to finish heating the water? She nudges the dude in the glasses who is running around getting take out orders ready and then he pours the hot water into the coffee filter for the wetting process after she nudged him, walks away right after and doesn't come back. My girlfriend went up to the lady and asked what the ETA for this coffee was going to be and she looks at my man with the glasses and they told her it's done and it's ready. Mind you, it's been sitting out at this point for about 8ish minutes? He puts it in a glass (even though it was asked to be to-go), so when I got the glass, I asked if it can be put into a Togo cup. Dude walks away to the hallway where the supply stuff is, so I asked the barista behind the espresso machine if I can just get a hot cup so I can get the hell out of there. He reached behind him to grab me a double stacked cup and the guy with glasses who was making my drink was no where to be found. Other barista got my pour over in the glass mug and kindly put it into the double cup for me. I really wanted to leave at this point because I didn't want to say anything I regretted. (Timestamp 4/5/24 around 11:20am) My pour over probably had a good 12+ minutes of time to cool off. Sure enough, as I drank my coffee after I left, it was lukewarm at best. Sucks that a place with such a reputation left a bad impression (not the first review about this). DC hasn't been a place with a lot of highly ranked coffee places, so it's disheartening to see this place not deliver. I've been staying at The Wharf district for my trip and walked my butt all the way here to be damn disappointed. Not looking for any retribution or anything, but just a note. Do better. There was a pour over pot sitting out with coffee and some water that already steeped through. It's been sitting there for over 10 minutes, on the counter, and no one wanted to ask what it was or see if they can step in to help? So notes for the rest of you so you have a better experience! -Order ahead. -Check in after 5 minutes if you haven't received your drink because they move pretty quickly. -Give the food a try. Lower expectations for their baked treats.
