A very elegant hotel, modern and clean, everything you expect from a high class hotel. We recently stayed for 3 nights at the Mandarin Oriental in DC and we couldn’t be happier! We love MO, and had a wonderful weekend. The service was ALWAYS quite professional. The front desk staff created some confusion with respect to what was included in our package, resulting in an inaccurate bill at checkout. Having said that, the desk person at checkout resolved the confusion without hesitation or having to go “talk to the manager.” Very nicely done. Hotel is within walking distance to the Mall, and the Wharf. The staff was beyond courteous, friendly, and accommodating. My kids loved the pool, and the garden area. We did not get a chance to use the spa unfortunately. Extremely clean!
