Incredible sushi! Super yummy
This place hit right on the nose for everything food, service and atmosphere.
I can't provide any criticism here. This is must go to places. And if lived close would be a consistent regular.
Stellar work and kudo to the team here.

Popped in for happy hour deals on sushi and shrimp dumplings. Both were fantastic. Friendly service at the bar, and great tasting food. Also ordered the Yaki stir fry ramen which was pretty good.

This review is written by somebody with an experienced pallet for Asian food, but also I’m not a foodie or a snob. If you have a normal American pallet, this place is probably pretty good for you.
Very good ambience. Service was incredible. They were very quick. Normal selection of Japanese draft beers on tap. Pan Asian menu with good options for Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese.
They have a very good happy hour deal. Two dollar Nigiri sushi, appetizers, specials.
I got a selection of salmon, yellowtail, and octopus Nigiri. They were made to order and delish. Small and simple. No frills.
I went against my better judgment and got the classic pho bowl. It was freezing outside and I wanted some comfort food.
Pho was not bad but also not great. For pho snobs, it tasted as though it was a new batch as opposed to a “mother dough” broth that has been cooking all day or all week. It wasn’t bad but tasted like really good “out of the box” pho broth.
The noodles were very good. They were cooked to order fresh as they were great mouth bite and definitely not over cooked.
The beef was good but not classic brisket. It was sauced Korean beef. If I had to guess, it was leftover from a batch of another dish. Still- it was good, just not classic pho brisket.
All in all, it was a solid B experience. I will give it up to them for making everything fresh upon order.
They were good not great. But good. I wouldn’t crave coming back over other other pho or Asian places in the city, but if a friend wanted to go, or if I was just getting done with a Caps game and somebody wanted to meet there, I would be totally fine.
Total bill was $33 (before tip) for 4 nigiri rolls, and pho bowl.

Food and service is good! I’ve been here a couple times.
If you’re vegetarian, you really should make sure to ask them what does and doesn’t have meat in it. The waitress explained that even if the ingredients list didn’t have meat listed in the dishes that there was fish sauce and oyster sauce in many of them.
A note to the manager is that they should update their menus to list dishes that are truly vegetarian or vegan. Just mark the menus with a “V” or a leaf icon.

We stopped at Absolute Noodle after touring the National Mall. Everything we had was really good and the service was great. I especially enjoyed the tonkotsu ramen and eel avocado roll.

My younger sister went here for lunch and two days later they decided to charge her card for an extra $7. FRAUD. When she called the lady on the phone was very rude and said “Dont you know this is DC” and said “you can come back and get your little $7”. Very unprofessional. Very rude. Food was
below decent on top all that.

I decided to check out Absolute Noodle and Sushi Bar after seeing a bunch of TikToks hyping it up, but honestly, I don’t really get the buzz. The food was decent, just not anything special. I do like that the menu mixes different Asian cuisines, so you’re not locked into one style.
We started with the Crab Rangoon, which tasted good and had plenty of filling, though it seemed to be mostly cream cheese. At $8 for three pieces, it felt a little overpriced. I ordered the tofu pad thai, which was solid and flavorful enough, but nothing worth going out of your way for — and definitely not worth waiting in line for (which apparently happens during busy times).
Overall, not bad, just overhyped.

Great service and great food
I highly recommend Absolute Noodle and Sushi Bar! I traveled to D.C. for a work trip and stumbled upon this gem. I was lucky enough to catch their happy hour, which is an amazing deal. Everything I had, including nigri and sushi rolls, was super tasty and super affordable. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
