Acqua Bistecca is located inside an apartment community in DC, with parking garage validation available. The restaurant has a good modern Italian vibe and an incredible atmosphere. The bar looks amazing and is a definite photo spot. The ambiance is beautiful and perfect for a celebration or date night. The service is good, friendly, and amazing, with attentive staff.
The food is wonderful, phenomenal, and solid, though not mind-blowing. It is definitely on the high-end side for both presentation and pricing. For a starter, the Little Gem Caesar Salad is fresh and flavorful. The Caviar Mozzarella Sticks are an experience. A main dish, the Due Bucatini Pasta, is very tasty, rich, and flavorful, though a bit salty. The Wild Striped Bass is tender inside with a crispy skin and is nicely seasoned. Overall, it is a place to return to for a special occasion.
