Great service, food, and drinks!

We dine in and use the Aquino app to order takeout! We have is so convenient and we earn points, which means we usually get something free. This time we tried the midnight taco, which was such a treat.

Our go to sushi spot in DC! The salmon lover and pad Thai never disappoint. And service is always super quick. Big fan of Akeno!

Sushi was great, service was also great. Will definitely eat here again.

Very good sushi and great vibes. It’s a bit tough to find but walking up the stairs transports you to a sushi fairytale land. Lots of bright colors. Great sushi. Crab rangoons were so good. Not your typically carry out rangoons with cream cheese and fake crab. These were made in house and had awesome flavor. Awesome staff.

The service was awful! I asked for sauce they asked for .50c !! They were not attending the table if we needed anything- we needed water refill. The lady was like you have to wait . The food was spicy. We were 1 adult and three kids . They added 20% service charge on the bill! It is not that I was planning not to tip the lady !! The service was definitely rude !

I chose Akeno Sushi to celebrate my bachelorette weekend, and I couldn’t have made a better choice! It’s my absolute favorite restaurant in DC, and this experience just confirmed why it’s one of my top spots. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely thrilled to help us celebrate. Nadia, in particular, was a joy to work with and supported me every step of the way in planning.

Expensive and low quality. $19 rainbow roll with bland raw fish and imitation crab. $24 Drunken Angel pasta, which was more like Lo Mein with a small salmon and 4 shrimp. Menu is complicated and cheesy. Service is very nice. Thai tea and Sake are okay, but unimpressive.

This food was SO good. The sushi was fresh fresh fresh and I also ordered green curry, which was so tasty and delicious. This was a pick based on ratings on DoorDash and I was so impressed I had to write a review !

Let me say, overall the experience here for happy hour yesterday was decent. The gyoza were fried perfectly, the sushi was solid, drinks and food came out quickly. BUT, my one issue was that the servers and staff kept creeping on our table--staring, monitoring, hawking us as we ate and drank. I'm talkin' every 5 minutes, It was so distracting and irritating. It felt like we were being rushed to eat and drink, like this weird pressure to hurry up and finish so we could leave, even though it was almost completely empty in the restaurant and the table wasn't needed. Though most of the experience was fine, I think I'll stick to sushi spots that give their guests room to breathe.
