Every time I’ve been to Albi, we have reserved the Chef’s Table—and it’s absolutely worth every penny. The team goes above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions, making sure every guest has the best possible experience. The food is consistently amazing, thoughtfully prepared, and presented beautifully. By the end of the meal, I was so full and completely satisfied. Truly a special dining experience that I’d recommend to anyone looking for something unique and memorable.

We sat at the hearth table and thoroughly enjoyed going on a culinary journey! Every bite was fantastic, but do not miss the mushroom hummus or the lamb dumplings. I will be dreaming about both of those for a good, long while!

Exceptional food. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor — the pita bread was perfect and the spices in the lamb dish were just balanced right. Definitely one of the best Levantine experiences in DC.

Albi is one of our top 2 dining experiences ever. The restaurant is stunning and to see the calm kitchen working perfectly in harmony was a treat. The food was insane - we loved every bit. The flavors were incredible. We truly savored every dish. The chefs coursing is worth it, and the drinks they paired with some of the dishes were also perfection. Going to Albi is an experience you surely won’t forget. Our favorite experience of our trip to DC.
Our only piece of feedback is that there could actually have been 2 less dishes in the coursing and 1 less dessert. We left VERY full, and when you experience a coursed meal it should be designed so as a patron we eat just enough to feel satisfied and don’t have to worry about portioning, as it’s almost impossible to do so since you have no idea what’s coming next. There are a few items they could have easily done without to make it more realistic of a portion size. This is coming from two people who eat a lot (lol) - we know how to throw down.

Phenomenal. Ambience was perfection, especially in the dining seating where there is a view of the open kitchen. Food was amazing. Every bite packed full of flavor. The naturally fermented wine was fresh, spritzy and strong. The shareables were scrumptious and flavorful. Special shout out to Ranya from the reservation team for accommodating us for a special occasion. Sensory experience. Very thankful.

Never having said this about any other restaurants, this is legitimately my favorite restaurant in the world. Amazingly creative, delicious, and welcoming. 5 years running strong. Bravo!

We had the five-course chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing and it did not disappoint. Everything from the opening bites to the final dessert was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The pita bread was outstanding, easily the best version I’ve ever tasted. The roasted eggplant melted in the mouth with a perfect blend of spices, and the knafeh was another standout. Each wine pairing enhanced the dishes, making the experience even more special. Reservations are essential and can be hard to get; we managed to secure a 9 pm slot. Overall, it was a memorable and satisfying dining experience.

Went here based on all of the reviews and the fact that some publications claimed this was the best restaurant in Washington DC. We walked away feeling like the food was very underwhelming and a couple of the dishes we ordered were not very good at all. Service was also cold and indifferent. Will not go back.

Dining at Albi is one of those unusual experiences that stays with you long after the evening ends. We were lucky enough to get spoiled with pretty much every dish on the menu, and each course felt like a journey to a special place, rooted in tradition yet new. Albi gets it right: craft, warmth, and hospitality that make you want to return again and again. The food, the people, the space... bravo Rafidi and team!
