Quick service although not attentive. Food was served hot and fresh. Seated at a nice large table but music was too loud!
Except for the woman yelling at the next table (& to another woman just 2 feet in front of her), I would have rated Afternoon Tea w/a 5.
An excellent brunch with friends! This spot is a little noisy, but we ate our fill and got our caffeine and then we're set loose into a bookstore. All in all a good day!
I treated my work team to Afternoon Tea. We enjoyed everything. I loved the soft-on-the-inside scones! One colleague loved the macaroons and another's fave was the egg sandwich. The selection of teas also had something for everyone.

This was the best meal I had in my five days in D.C. I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had the French toast (we both had a tasty apple cinnamon non-alchoholic spritzer): so delicious. It was one of those meals that everything seemed perfect: the atmosphere, the flavor, the temperature, the texture, and the company. Highly recommend. Kramers will definitely be our first stop next time we're in town...and don't forget the lovely bookshop that's part of the establishment--truly a treasure.

We went for the afternoon tea experience, and just thought it would be cute to have tea in a bookstore but didn't expect the excellent quality of food and service. Highly recommend, 5 stars!
I will visit every DC trip...for sure...

We had a wonderful experience at the cafe. The food was delicious! The service was amazing! The staff were both friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Fried chicken sandwich, and the fried chicken Caesar wrap. We will definitely return.
The steak and egg was very good.

Vibe and food were great!! A bit pricey, but to be expected. The specialty drinks were great!
So so food. Keep expectations low. Crab soup had lots of small crab bits but was very bland in flavor. Steak and frites... Was served cool, not hot. Add the BS 20% surcharge scam.... I will avoid.
This is a restaurant in a book store. Nothing to look at (besides books). The food however is really good.
Book stores are nice but noisy to eat in. Tea service was mid at best but the staff was very good.
I am all about anything that combines with a bookshop, and Kramers gets it very right! The menu is a celebration of mortadella and I am here for it! Though to be fair I’ve only had one option. It’s just so good that I can’t bring myself to try anything else! The mortadellabreakfast sandwich is out of this world. Greasy and cheesy and heart warming! They met the cheese inside of the mortadella slices, genius! I would love to say that I want to go back to try more but I don’t know if I can have eyes for any other plate!
