Great place, atmosphere, and food overall. Staff was also extremely nice, yet there was a delay for the pizza. Kelsie and her manager took complete care of us professionally and amicably. I highly recommend this waterfront place.

I read about this place in Washingtonian magazine. I think they have good marketing people and connection to the magazine. I thought I would have a really good pizza. It was BLAH.

For a place that advertises beer and pizza this boutique pizzeria is lacking in both. A limited selection of beer, maybe 6 or 7 and not even an assortment of- mostly IPAs. The 12 inch pizza is mediocre at best (suprema), the marinara was tasteless, pepperoni was tasteless, the sausage was the only thing that had flavor yet it was greasy. The crust was dry which is odd due to the amount of grease in the center. The location is nice along the river and apparently that means you also charge outrageous prices for items. Even with a $25 individual pizza this place believes they need to charge a mandatory service fee of 20% on top of all the other ridiculous taxes and fees.

I made reservations for dinner last night with a total of 6 people for restaurant week. It was a simple menu but definitely still really delicious ingredients. 3 dishes for $40, I chose the garlic knots, salsiccia and Nutella brownie. We had a wonderful waitress who checked on us regularly and refilled our beverages. She was very patient when our group was still deciding on what to eat.It has a very casual feel inside but also a small and nice cozy vibe. Once you walk in, you can see a bit of the kitchen. The bathrooms are also gender neutral which is nice.

I wanted to organize a dinner for my friends but I was overseas. Kelsey and the good peple at All-Purpose helped me make the arrangements. My friends had a great evening out.

All Purpose is the the very best pizza in DC! ? Service can be all over the place. Location is beautiful and close to other spots to easily grab a drink or treat before/after.

I wish I could give this 4.5 stars, alas. The food is good and I love the location, and service has always been good. I recently got the buona pizza and absolutely loved it- the spicy honey is perfection and the crust is great.Given that I don't usually eat a whole one (can make it into two meals) $22 isn't terrible, but if you're hungry you could easily kill it on your own which makes it a little pricey for what it is. Hence four stars because I do hesitate to go, because if you add a drink, you're gonna be paying $40 (w tax and tip included) for a very casual meal.

More of the Officina pizza please! The Sedgewick was okay; the black truffle honey was too sweet in my opinion! We met a beautiful couple that are regulars and they told us to put the black truffle honey on the side next time! When they have leftovers, they heat up the pizza and dip the pizza crust in the honey!

Hidden Gem!!! I haven't found good pizza in DC, but this place is awesome. Great atmosphere and great staff. I sat at the bar and had a good conversation with the bartenders just about life and places we've been. I will be returning, not to mention it's in Navy Yard, so it's close to my place.

Amazing Italian pizzeria. Our family tried. Several of the pizzas, all were amazing. I especially liked one that had hot honey on it. All of the crusts are New Jersey style, a good balance, between a thin crust pizza, and one with a good thick crust at the end.We also loved the Arancini- just like we had an Italy. For the quality of the food, I thought everything was very reasonably priced. Rare in D.C.The view of the river is top notch from this location. I would go back for the view alone.

Tonight my sister and I dined at All-Purpose on the Riverfront. It had a charming atmosphere that was quickly ruined by our server who seemed annoyed at our general presence. I asked for a simple unsweetened tea and was quickly told "no" with no reasoning and no ability to ask why. We then ordered a Margherita Pizza and the Mezzo Rigatoni. Both dishes were undercooked and lacking in tastes described on the menu. We nibbled and then asked for the check. The check was rudely laid before my sister when the waiter added in that 20% gratuity had already been added. We love to tip and tip properly-according to service. You can be a great waiter in a restaurant that serves mediocre food and get tipped incredibly in accordance to service. Poor service is what reflects a poor tip in my eyes. So being hit with below average food and a waiter that had beyond average service was one for the books. We will not be returning.
