Service was poor. The rooftop lounge had no table service. The drink menu in the first floor lounge was limited and no small bites were available. And just one server. The staff largely seemed indifferent and responded as if we first-timers should have known how the place operates. I could go on, but why bother. It's definitely a place for young people who are accustomed to paying to be proactive in trying to be served.

I was skeptical about eating at a restaurant inside the hotel we're staying at this weekend because they tend to be overpriced and disappointing. Allegory was nothing like that. Incredible food with incredible flavors, a creative cocktail menu with drinks I'd never tried before, and a lovely staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially our bartender, Daniel.

A hidden gem off of the lobby of the Eaton hotel. Gorgeous mural that tells the story of integration by a young woman in the south. Excellent cocktails with that personal touch that makes them unique

I’ve had some great cocktails in my time, many of them on the top 50 list. The Dreamteam from the Allegory was the best drink I’ve had so far. An unpretentious and intentional combination. Many bars suffer from ingredient inflation but not the Allegory.

Little speakeasy at the back of the hotel. Vibe is good, not too loud. Drinks were tasty (but expensive!) and service was pretty good. Food options were a bit limited and overpriced. I can't understand why bars/restaurants put cheez-its on the menu...
