We had a lovely meal! The Fettucine Alfredo Vero and Penne alla Vodka with garlic, basil and creamy tomato sauce were both delicious, with fresh ingredients and flavorful sauces. To top it off, the Rich Decadent Chocolate Cake was the perfect way to end the meal—absolutely yummy!
We sat outside and our table neighbor had three smelly, poorly trained, anxious dogs, but there's not much that the restaurant can do about that. While our server was fantastic and the food was great, I was not getting warm and fuzzy vibes from the rest of the staff, specifically this skinny guy that seemed to be the lead host/ dining room manager. I guess he was not convinced that I could afford the lamb over saffron risotto for me and my date (it was the special). Maybe...
Alta Strada is an amazing spot for dinner! Get the world famous bread...you'll thank me later.
The service was top level, very quick service all around. Every member of the staff seems to help out every table. It's not the biggest restaurant, but gives you that family Italian vibe.
