It was the perfect place to go with a group that had varied taste in food and dietary restrictions. The meals were very tasty and well spice. Ambience was great - really nice but not too fussy.

Fabulous in every way. We ate there during restaurant week. The service, food, everything were just wonderful.

This was a wonderfully experience! I'm happy that I chose this place to celebrate my birthday šŸŽ‚ it's was magical and delicious!

Variety of food and drink options. Perfect little brunch spot. The small plates are just the right amount of food.

Awesome food with great vegetarian options . Every dish was perfect . Seating could be better and felt like sitting in a chain restaurant but the food and service made up for it . Would go back again and again

Most of the food was mid, at best. Went for brunch. I highly recommend the Balkano slider (the pork is divine), mushroom rice, and veal soup. Everything else is either a skip or empty calories. The ā€œpotato hashā€ was dried out potatoes with a few sad onions on top. The ā€œflatbreadsā€ are just pizzas. Disappointing service was the cherry on top.

We had a fantastic time at Ambar. The food is so unique and always delicious. Our server was great too. We can't wait to visit again!

We had the first floor area almost all to ourself. We had a party of 12 and the amount of food and service was exceptional. Great place for a large dinner and the variety of food satisfied people we dietary restrictions. Everyone left full and happy!

What an amazing dining experience! I typically don’t go for anything ā€œall you can eatā€ but this was different than any dining experience I’ve had. The food was high quality and delicious.

Food was good! Bartender was serving our section and it seemed like he was very overwhelmed. Food was amazing!

A cozy and welcoming gem in the Capitol Hill area, this spot offers a truly delightful dining experience. The menu features flavorful Balkan dishes, each beautifully prepared and presented. The staff are not only friendly but wonderfully knowledgeable — they take the time to explain the cuisine and help guide guests who may be new to these distinctive flavors. The drink selection is top-notch, perfectly complementing the meal, and the desserts are nothing short of outstanding. A must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience in D.C.

second time here, most items are great however I like lunch menu more than brunch because lunch got more protein choices

The all-you-can eat was a solid choice, especially with our group of four. We literally tried every item on the menu and ordered more of a few dishes. I ate so much I was having a hard time breathing at the end, 10/10 would recommend.
