Such a great neighbourhood bar with nice ambiance but sadly terrible beer selection. We wanted to stay longer but left to go get better drinks elsewhere.

I’ve been to many bars but this one has to be one of my favorites. The food was great loved the service my bartender was polite and attentive I will definitely be back . So make sure you give this local gem a chance you won’t regret it.

This place used to be cool and it lost its charm completely. While I was trying to get water at the bar, owner Jimmy came by and started swearing at me to move away from where they serve drinks. He was extremely rude, he seemed out of it and intoxicated. He tried to get violent for no reason and acted like he owns the neighborhood. If you are considering a good bar in the neighborhood, I’d suggest going somewhere where you’ll be treated with dignity. Here is the owner’s face while he was swearing at me in my personal space over nothing. Service bar, All Souls, Whitlows are bars you should try out just not this place.

My partner ordered a beer at the bar and I asked for a water. I was told “water is at the end of the bar on both ends.” This is what happens when a 20% gratuity gets added to all checks … there is no incentive to “work.” I’m sorry that I choose not to drink.

Granted, we are transplants to the area, but have lived here for a while and finally decided to check out this bar for a nightcap per recommendations from co-workers with some friends. Our friends ended up bailing but we decided to take a chance! Bartender was AMAZING! She was very sweet and attentive but the door guy (?) was very talkative yet RUDE! He kept interrupting the bartender, and I heard him make jokes about her accent which we thought was unsavory. I only wish I stood up for her and apologize for it- my sister's husband is ESL and I know he is insecure about it. He kept talking to us and at one point made a joke (?) about us doing "our part" about cleaning our glasses and pulling up bar mats, and even made a similar not-well-received joke to the girl sitting a few stools over from us- and she didn't get it either. I'm not totally sure what his deal was, but we decided to head home shortly after, because the vibe was NOT IT. All in all, the drinks were delicious! We will absolutely give a second try earlier in the day when the kitchen is open to try out the nachos we hear are to die for, or for the bingo our friends attend! Lots of screens in the place, should be good for big games or award shows Heard it is a fun place to visit after a concert, just not sure it was the right night for a first taste.

A nice place to have a quick bite after going to the 9:30 Club for a concert! It's a little confusing how to order here--tables have waiters, but small tables and the bar doesn't--but the food was pretty good! I liked the chill atmosphere here too.
Absolutely terrible! They claim that they provide local residents with a 10% discount, however, we went there tonight and showed our ID and no discount was taken off our check! Our ID shows residence in zip code 20001. We even made sure to ask about the 10% discount when requesting our final bill.

American Ice Company offers a unique setting close to both 9:30, The Atlantis, and the Green Line. We had the nachos, which are legit. It's not one of those cheap places where they only put stuff on top and 5 minutes in your eating naked tortilla chips. We also have the veggie dog, which comes with veggie chili. I would recommend both dishes to anyone seeking vegetarian or meatless dishes. Their selection of beer is vast and affordable.

Cockroach problem. Four of us sat inside and after a while we had a roach walking up the wall of our booth. We didn't make a big deal since it is a dive bar so we switched booth only to have a roach walk over my friend's lap within minutes of sitting down. Bar man didn't care when I brought it to his attention. Avoid this place.

Service was on point! Server was always there to serve us another round of drinks. Water cups filled without asking. Food was great including the highly recommended half smoke with side of coleslaw and pickle. I’d go back just for that dish every time. Vibe is real cool inside. Very laid back and relaxed. We were there when it wasn’t too busy (Thursday afternoon) so may be an entirely different beast at night and on weekends.
