Ammathar Thai Cuisine is a great spot for authentic Thai food with a cozy and lively atmosphere. The flavors are bold and well-balanced across the dishes, and everything feels freshly made. The grilled chicken with sticky rice was a standout — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and paired with the sticky rice that was spot on. Definitely a dish I’d come back for. If you’re looking for really good Thai food in town, this place is worth a visit

Local go-to Thai spot. I ALWAYS order the Soft Shell Crab, which is perfectly fried and accompanied by a spicy yet tasty sauce. The past few times we have tried the Whole Flounder (pictured here). They tend to fry it a little too deeply, but it still is solid. My wife really enjoys the Thai Iced Tea as well. Service is good and the prices are fair.

The food here is fantastic – really tasty with a good variety, and as a vegetarian, I was pleased with the options. What surprised me was that the spice level was actually quite mild, which was a nice change. However, I did feel a little uneasy about the neighborhood. There seemed to be a noticeable number of homeless individuals around, and it felt a bit chaotic at times.
