She is SO NICE! They all have a kind spirit and that’s why the food is so good all the time. It’s always consistent. I live 30 seconds walking distance and I from now I’m going to sit in the restaurant and eat, because the atmosphere is so soothing and welcoming. I love this place and I’m so happy I moved from MD to DC.

I hesitated to leave this review because I’ve been coming to this place on and off for a few years and the food is always been pretty good but as of today I made up my mind I’m not going back and the reason being is the lady who works during the day 🤦♂️I don’t believe that she’s the owner. She is very nasty all of the time and I ignore it most of the time until I got to the point where I actually thought 💁♂️why should I keep coming into a restaurant that charges me to use my credit or my debit card and on top of that, they’re nasty now the lady who owns the place I think that she’s the one with the short hair. She’s always been nice. I’ve never had an issue with her and really I’ve never directly had an issue with the nasty lady, but it gets to a point where you start to think why should I keep supporting this when she doesn’t respect my business so as of today that’s my last straw and that’s mainly because this lady is so nasty. Most of the time she wears it in her face and her attitude! I hesitated to even leave the review because I can see that the biggest problem is the fact that the owner jealously supports whatever and it seems as though she defends or deflects instead of fixing the issues! I can truly understand why it is it’s only one person Still working in the restaurant and probably one or two people in the kitchen! Again, the food is pretty good, but the lady who works during the day she’s just too nasty for me! And this is from somebody who’s been coming to you for number of years, but I just finally came to the conclusion. Maybe it was my “I’m done with it day “ where I said why should I continue to give somebody $23 $24 $30 $35 when I can spend 1/3 of that amount with people who appreciate my business! So before the owner leaves a comment saying that the person is a liar because I read a lot of her comments on here … you need to take a step back and stop calling your customers liars because they told you about their experience! You need to look at yourself. It’s hard to do that and stay objective when the business belongs to you, but in the interest of business or good customer service calling your customers a liar every time they leave you a bad review doesn’t necessarily mean that they didn’t have a bad experience! And by the looks of things, I read a few comments on here they said some of the same things! I’ve never had a direct rude nasty conflict with her, but she’s so condescending and so nasty I got to a point where I was like you know what I’m not coming here anymore because she’s just nasty! goodbye and good riddance! and just in case you decide to call me a liar then I’m gonna say you’re a liar too because I’m basically leaving a very honest comment whether you wanna fix it or not that’s your business cause I won’t be back!

So got the large oxtail meal, smallest portion of oxtails bones cause was little to no meat I have ever been served , cabbage was really mushy and has a very strange taste, rice and beans great portion and probably would have been good until they covered the rice with very salty gravy from oxtail. Yes oxtail very very salty no flavor just salt. To top it off this cost me just shy of 24 bucks. This was the worst Caribbean food I’ve ever eaten really really not worth the cost. I was extremely disappointed.

Absolutely delicious!!! Great atmosphere, amazing customer service, and clean from the back to the front of the establishment and the portions are hefty!! You're going to love it here!!
The cashier working was sooo lovely and helpful. We dined in and saw her help all guests very warmly. Beef patty was a 10, oxtails were a 10, jerk chicken a 10, plantains a 10. VERY good food for a wonderful price! This is our new spot.

Ok. Very wonderful curried goat!! Especially the next day. The next day I was like damn! Quite far away from me, but it was worth the drive. I appreciated the ladies at the register. 2 beautiful queens who make delicious food. Thank you ladies very much! Keep giving love in your dishes.
