We enjoyed eating at this establishment. It was clean and the service was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious! Love the fact that it closes at midnight. Perfect place to go after a late basketball game. Can’t wait to return!

I go to Angelico, not for pizza, but for pasta. Pasta every time. My office moved near this location in 2009, so I've been going there over 13 years. I get either the pesto pasta or the baked futility each time. Today I got the pesto pasta and carried it across the street to my office. I opened the container and found a half portion of pasta. (The pasta did not even cover the bottom of the container!) I immediately called and asked when did they reduce the amount of pasta. The woman who answered could not answer any questions (you would think staff would be knowledgeable). I evidentiary spoke to the "chef" (not that Angelico is a restaurant who hires a chef, more like a line cook). He claimed that they have never reduced the amount of pasta. I told him I received a half portion. He said I could bring it back for a remake (I didn't need a remake because I know the flavor is great). He finally agreed to accommodate me on a future visit. Be aware of you have a take out order to ensure you are getting a full order! Oh ... and by the way ... the garlic bread (slice of garlic pizza) was old and hard instead of the way a piece of pizza should be!

I ordered pizza for pick up on phone. The pizza was not ready when promised and it seems like they forgot to make it till I arrived for pick up. It seemed like a toddler had thrown all the ingredients on the pizza base and took it out even before it had a chance to fully cook. The return at was empty when I ordered, so it’s not like they were super busy. I am done with them. This is third order in a row that they have messed up.

Most of the menu is made inhouse, bread and pizza is great since day are fresh. Also try the Baklava a great Turkish dessert, added to mediterranian menu.

Ive passed by so many times but never really looked in until I saw their focaccia sandwiches on postmates. I ordered the chicken paradisco and a create your own calzone and OMG amazing! I normally dislike sandwiches but it was so moist and delicious and the calzone is huge! Definitely becoming a go to spot for pizza
The shop is under renovation, but still one of the best Pizza shops in DC, and the staff are always friendly

Shitty undercooked pizza. Not fresh at all. Tasted microwaved. I took a bite and the whole piece of cheese came off of the bread .I walked into this place before and it wasn't bad. Today was my first time calling for delivery. (From an out of state number) He asked me on the phone if I had ever been there before which I found very odd. And then sure enough the pizza was dogshit. Bread and cheese not blended at all. It was like he microwaved cheese on top of bread. Absolutely awful pizza. Would've got papa johns if I knew it was going to be so bad. Idk if I got the bootleg version but I will not be returning and recommend you to try somewhere else. Fuck this place!

Pizza was hard as a brick and the wings were horrible. I ordered a meat lovers pizza and a pepperoni pizza. How do you have such a great reputation in the community and serving low grade food like this. This was a waste of $79.00. Maybe the animals outside will enjoy this garbage.
