We went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday after watching the Netflix show. We were seated promptly our server was pleasant but left us feeling disappointed in this experience. Then Lizete (sorry if misspelled) came to our table and and treated us like celebrities the amazing way we she turned a blah experience into something truly amazing she went as far as to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a delicious mango drink she is a great manager and person

Easily the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Huge portions too! I will be dreaming about the black sesame tres leches cake for the rest of my life so I hope it stays for a long time! The atmosphere and the music they were playing made for a fantastic evening! I can’t wait to come back!

Second time eating here and the highlight really seems to be the atmosphere. The food is generally pretty good, if unremarkable, and the service seems knowledgeable and attentive. Give it a try!

Came here on the 4th opening anniversary after saving this place on Instagram for the longest time. On a holistic level, this place is great. Menu options are true to nature (안주 af, tasty, and unique), drinks are phenomenal, and the interior feels cozy. Staff all around was very friendly and attentive. There is a bit to be desired (parents prolly wouldn’t approve ). Bottles of soju are 23 bucks, which is way beyond market, not a single Korean song on the aux, and the kimchi was a no-go.Honestly though, I’m nitpicking. I’d recommend this place for a ?? spot in DC. These places are hard to come by, and even harder to execute. They happily and easily accommodated a large party on one of their busiest nights which I’m grateful for. The BOH & FOH excelled, and I loved the vibes. Happy birthday; I’ll be back!

Loved this spot. The food was so good! The dumplings were our favorite but everything else was incredible. The sticky toffee dessert was also a slay!

Food good - not stellar. Service meh. Given the cost, and how far out you have to book a reservation, probably better off just going to Chiko.

Update: My husband wanted to give this place a second chance for his birthday and our experience this time was much better. Their brunch menu has had some changes since our last visit and now feels much more like brunch offerings than lunch/dinner. We made sure to go right when they opened this time - the milk bread french toast quest was a success and it did not disappoint!First visit: Went for brunch on Sunday. I called as soon as they opened and person on the phone recommended for walk ins to come after 11:30. We were able to get a table without issue, which was fortunate. I think we were seated around 12:05 or 12:15. By the time the server took our order it was 12:30. I came specifically for the milk bread french toast and they were out. Brunch goes until 1:30, so I'm not sure if french toast is only available on Saturday or only available during the first hour of brunch service. It is the only sweet or pastry type option they have. All but two of their brunch offerings feel much heavier and more lunch/dinner entrees than brunch. So much so that it took us a few minutes upon being seated to realize what we were given was in fact the brunch menu and not the dinner menu.I opted for the porridge. The rice and meat were delicious but the potatoes and carrots were undercooked and still quite raw in the center. I'm not sure if that's the intention of the dish, but I was expecting comforting softened vegetables with the gentle porridge. My husband loved the spicy chicken sandwich and the loaded tater tots. I really wanted to try the french toast but I don't feel inclined to return not knowing if it's possible to get the dish.

I went here after seeing it on somebody feed phil. As someone who has spent significant time in Korea I was disappointed that the flavors and dishes were not representative of the culture, especially at this price point. Kimchi jjigae, yukgaejang, and jjajangbap should never be $25+.
