I live in Southwest and find myself coming here more than most places that are a closer walk. The cocktails are inventive and flavorful and not wildly priced, the service has always been very kind and welcoming. Baked goods are top notch.

Any Day Now is one of my fav places to go near the Waterfront and Navy Yard! I loveee their veggie Kimchi Sandwich. Seriously everyone is eating this whenever I go there lol Staff are kind and helpful!

The scallion pancake breakfast sandwich absolutely made my day. Maybe my week. It’s so flavorful, the textures are a perfect combination, and the ambiance of this place is addicting.
This was my first scallion pancake — it’s crispy more like an egg roll, no fluffiness of a flap-jack style pancake.
The restaurant is located right on the corner — it’s a little hard to find if you don’t know what to look for, but it’s right there in the lowest level on the corner.
Grab a menu on your way in, order at the counter, find a cozy seat (whether you define cozy as a couch, lounger, window table, round table for a larger party, etc). There’s a variety of great options.
Pictured here are the vegan tofu and hickory smoked bacon sandwiches.

I came to Any Day Now to do interview prep for a big interview. I have not been called back for a second round yet, so take that however you’d like. That said, if my focus slipped at all, it was only because this place is genuinely cute and very easy to settle into. It feels like the kind of coffee shop where you can stay for a while without feeling rushed or awkward about it.
The seating setup is ideal if you actually plan to be productive. There is a couch for lounging, tables if you want to spread out, and counter seating if you are more in and out. It strikes that rare balance of feeling cozy without being cramped and energetic without being distracting. A great spot for thinking through answers, calming nerves, or just pretending you are the main character with a notebook and coffee.
I went for breakfast and ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee with ube, which was excellent. It was sweet but not overly sweet, balanced, and honestly very drinkable. The ube added depth without turning it into dessert, which I appreciated since I was there to function, not spiral into a sugar crash.
For food, I got their breakfast scallion pancake sandwich, vegetarian, no kimchi. I love kimchi, but only when it is grilled, and I did not want to risk it mid prep session. The sandwich was scallion pancake, steamed fluffy egg, and cheese, and it was delicious. Simple, comforting, and satisfying. It comes with a side of chili crisp, which added just the right amount of heat and texture. Interview outcome pending, but the coffee and breakfast absolutely delivered.

This place will not be great Any Day Now.. it’s great today! Turkey Club on the signature scallion pancake wrap was extremely tasty. Each ingredient stood up on its own. Fresh roasted turkey, tangy, slightly spicy chipotle sauce, thick bacon, and just perfect tomato slices. Kimchi potato salad just as pleasant and a large portion to boot. Well done chef!

So delicious especially if you love savory breakfast. We got the vegetarian kimchi breakfast sandwich, bacon sandwich and side of hash browns. Food was excellent and I wish they had locations outside of DC!

First time here today and I really liked it. The space is bright, clean, and sunny, it instantly feels calm and welcoming. The staff was kind and helped me choose both a coffee and a sandwich, which I really appreciated. Great coffee, peaceful atmosphere, and a very good music playlist.

Nice spot but I found it a bit overpriced, particularly with a mandatory 12.5% service charge as well as a tip prompt considering theres no table service and you have to go up to the counter to order your own food.
At $10.50 a sandwich I feel like they could really include kimchi without charging an extra $2.50, and two hashbrowns for $6 was a bit much as well. The pancake was crispy but light on scallions and overall pretty greasy, particularly when you add the chili oil to the mix. I also wish the chili oil came in reusable ramekins rather than single use plastic containers.
On the other hand, the decor is nice inside and the brown butter sage coffee was excellent. They take InKind, so don’t miss out on the 20% cashback through the app.

This is by far one of my DC top 5 spots. The service is kind, knowledgeable, and they have staying power. In this industry, you often see staff turnover. I can depend being seen and being known.
And the food. I love the bev program. I’m a sucker for a funky white wine or a natural tinted varietal. They bring diverse options to a funky Korean. Breakfast concept. The egg sandwich and fish sandwich are my faves. Always with an order of hash browns.

delicious sandwiches and good coffee ☕ and drinks, plenty of room for studying or working. I got the grilled chicken sando, and the scallion pancake bun was awesome, flavorful and not too overpowering. My friend got the fries too and it was a good option to share. The space was also very clean and the staff was friendly and kind, wifi available and water station available. Would need to come back one day for the coconut cake 🍰

ADN is bringing the celebration of love for scallion pancakes the world has been waiting for. I got the scallion pancake burger, lemon ricotta and what! Ube cake 💜 but the champion of the meal for me that blew my mind was the dumpling taco. When I saw it on the menu I thought meh that sounds super weird. I think maybe it should be called open face dumplings-in case they’re taking suggestions HA they were these thin discs, doughy on the bottom and meat on the top and perfection dipped in soy sauce. Explosions of flavor yet so delicate! Would love to go for a brunch and try their cocktails! My only critical point would be for the scallion pancakes to get some more grease and scallions/leek!

The food was delicious. My gripe is the 11% service fee they add but you order from the register at the front counter. That is the highest I’ve ever seen for a service fee

Very unassuming from the outside underneath a luxury apartment building. But such a fantastic fusion restaurant! Get something with the scallion pancakes whether a dip or a sandwich. I highly recommend this unique place!
