Really cute vibes, decent coffee, but super slow service and the sausage egg sandwich I got was mid at best. Went on a Sunday at noon and had no issues getting a table which is great, but was really disappointed to have to wait 30 mins for a mediocre sandwich. Also the menu is super limited and pastry items run out fast. Will try the kimchi sandwich next time.

My fiance and I went here specifically for the scallion pancakes and they did NOT disappoint. It was my first time not only hearing about it but also trying one, and these were the perfect introduction. I had the bacon egg and cheese while my fiance had the sausage and egg; It was delicious. The pancake was crispy, crunchy, and fried hard (like I like it apparently) and the egg was fluffy and filling. All of this was perfectly complimented by their chili pepper sauce which wasn't at all too hot. For a first timer 10/10 would recommend and 100% would do it again.

Delightful cafe in Navy Yard with incredible vibes, gorgeous decor, and delicious food! A friend and I popped by Any Day Now for a late Saturday brunch before a long afternoon of wandering the Rubell Museum a few blocks away (highly recommend this full itinerary if you're looking for chill weekend plans). We were drawn in by a few Instagram ads about their breakfast scallion pancake sandwiches, and Any Day Now most certainly did not disappoint! We both got their kimchi sandwich, which came with a generous slice of steamed egg, American cheese, kimchi, and a bona fide heap of chili crisp. Both the flavors and textures were in perfect harmony -- the fragrant scallion pancakes paired beautifully with the umami and slight spice of the kimchi and chili crisp. The pancakes were also super crispy and flaky, which was a great contrast against the soft steamed egg and melty cheese. Overall, it was a phenomenal twist on a classic breakfast sandwich! It did get pretty messy, as the scallion pancake was a bit greasy and didn't have the best structural integrity, so it's not a sandwich I'd recommend taking for the road. The side of chili crisp only adds to the mess, but it's such a game-changer -- the sandwich is good on its own, but the deep umami punch from the chili crisp takes it to the next level. But it's probably better that we can't take the sandwich to go -- beyond the food, I loved just spending time in this place! The decorations were so quaint and bright, and I just loved how much natural light they got from the giant, floor-to-ceiling windows! It's the perfect place to work or read.If you're not in the mood for some good food, they also have a solid drink menu. I had their matcha latte and my friend snagged their Vietnamese iced coffee with ube. Both were solid, but nothing particularly outstanding -- the matcha latte wasn't overly sweet and had a noticeable matcha flavor, but the Vietnamese coffee was a bit lacking in ube flavor (although it did have a gorgeous purple hue).Overall, Any Day Now is a gorgeous space for working, reading, or just hanging out. Their breakfast scallion pancake sandwiches are a great way to start the day, and, while their drinks are solid, they're not the star of the show.

Any Day Now won me over with their flavorful Kimchi Breakfast Scallion Pancake Sandwich and comforting Chai Latte. The sandwich was a delightful blend of savory and satisfying, while the latte warmed me up with its rich spices. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, making it the ideal spot for a casual meal. Whether you're craving bold flavors or a comforting beverage, Any Day Now is sure to hit the spot. Highly recommended for a delicious dining experience.

Upon my recent visit to DC my team decided to cowork from here. It is an absolutely adorable cafe with delicious coffee and some sweet food options. It was hard for me to decide between breakfast and lunch - so I decided to do both! The breakfast scallion pancakes caught my eye so I opted for tht with sausage, as they make the sausage in house. The sandwich is huge, and we definitely could have split it. We also ordered the Green Papaya Salad which was a delicious spin on a ceasar. We also got Yuca hash browns, which were huge but not my favorite. I think they were too big to have that crunchy but soft consistency we love about a hash brown. Overall this is a solid spot to cowork with plenty of seating, light, and outlets by the wall. I did also notice they have a full bar, which is fun when the clock strikes 5 pm!

Found this from TikTok in reference to the scallion pancake sandwich and can honestly say it did not disappoint! I'm a huge chilli oil crunch fan so this was screaming my name! Super flavorful, the egg is fluffy and the pancake is crispy yet soft. It was a little packed when I visited but I still found seating easily, it's quite spacious and connected to a hotel lobby! I also tried the Ube Latte and was shocked by how good it was! I wasn't sure if the combo would blend well but it's amazing.

It shows that this place is loved, there weren't many seats available. A lot of people were working alone and gathering with others. There are couch areas, a bar area and regular tables for seating. The scallion pancake breakfast sandwiches with chili oil were delicious, highly recommend! I really enjoyed the Vietnamese iced coffee with Ube. They have bags of coffee and other items for sale. After noon, they also serve from a full bar for the lunch time hours until 5pm.

A cute cafe in navy yard with some unique food and drink options. Loved the ube latte, even though ube is a pretty subtle flavor it still came through. The scallion pancake was super tasty and I loved how crispy the outside was, it also pairs really well with the chili oil. The cafe was pretty busy on a Saturday morning, but we were able to order and find a table without any trouble.

I ordered the kimchi egg and cheese sandwich. I couldn't try the hash browns because they were sold out. I also got the Vietnamese iced coffee. Both were amazingggg. My first time trying Vietnamese coffee and trying kimchi. The cafe has an abundance of seating! It was kinda crowded but I was still able to get work done. I'll definitely come back again!

Wooooooow truly one of the best meals. The coffee had such a lovely flavor, not too sweet and the breakfast sandwich was SOOO delicious. The portion size is more modest which balanced out the richness of the flavor. It can with a chili sauce on the side that was perfect!

Would not recommend this place based off their very instagram-famous scallion pancake breakfast sandwich. I was disappointed on all fronts. I had the kimchi vegetarian option and it was simultaneously greasy but flavorless. They look beautiful and have potential but was disappointing. It’s a beautiful restaurant with a nice environment but the food was not worth going out of my way for. If you’ve seen this place on DC food influencer instagrams and tik-toks, you’ll know it’s very hyped up. Unfortunately, it was not worth the hype.

Great place for coworking and a light lunch! I loved the space - lots of seating and natural light, making it perfect to work at. I tried the bacon scallion pancake, which was a little bit underwhelming - I would expect the scallion pancake to have a nice balance between crispy and chewy but it was just crispy. The slices of bacon were also so paper thin I wasn't sure if I could even taste them. However, the overall flavor was pretty good and I loved the chili oil that came on the side. I also tried the Vietnamese iced coffee with ube which actually pleasantly surprised me - it was nice and rich with a good ube flavor. I don't think I'd come back for the breakfast sandwiches, but I'm looking forward to see what they add to the menu!

I have only a few visits to Any Day Now, an all-day cafe (and in the evening dinner spot, located in the space previously occupied by ABC Pony in DC's Navy Yard. They offer a range of pastries, and muffin but the signature item is the scallion pancake sandwiches. Varieties range from breakfast sausage to kimchi. I can attest, the kimchi is unique and delicious. I can't bring myself to order anything else (yet). Of course, all the usual beverages are available: coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cold brew, kombucha.... The space is not too large so weekends get tight. Service is efficient and friendly. The popularity does come at a cost though. At my last visit I noticed the carpets and tile could use a bit of attention.
