First time having Venezuelan food and it is amazingly good and delicious. I picked up my order at 645pm on May 12 and was met with very friendly customer service. I will def. come back when visiting.

By far the best Arepas around words simply cannot describe how delicious these arepas are. And the green sauce is even more amazing!

There's a lot of good food to choose from at Union Market but my favorite is Arepa Zone - for the food quality and flavor, cost, and friendliness of the staff. My favorite arepa is the Pabellòn, swapping out the beef for avocado to make it vegetarian - the combo of queso fresco, beans, sweet plantains and avocado is dreamy. It comes with a zippy green sauce that I can't get enough of. I love getting an arepa and a beer, sitting outside at the picnic tables, and eating dinner before catching a good movie at Angelika.

Another fantastic spot at Union Market. The chicken salad (with avocado) is fresh and flavorful. The pork arepa is also delicious and fresh. I highly suggest a visit to this restaurant. It's truly authentic Venezuelan cuisine.

First time at Union Market and was immediately overwhelmed by the number of restaurants and people is inside the small establishment. Our local friend suggested Arepa Zone and since we never had Venezuelan food before, why not give them a try. I'm glad we did because it was definitely very different from what I've ever had. The corn dough bread reminds me of a rice cakes but arepas are a little bit more softer and moist. Honestly, I'm not overly impressed. The arepas didn't have much flavor until you put the special green sauce on it.

Love the cachapas. Usually get the beef and chicken. The corn dough is a nice mixture of crispy and soft. It's sweet flavor goes well with the cheese and meat. Their chocolate tequenos are delicious as well.

Get the 10 dollar sampler. It's filling and the way to go. I got the chicken avocado salad, the chicken with shredded cheese and the beef with shredded cheese. The chicken was by far my favorite. It had so much flavor. They're small but stuffed with me. Being that I've never had an arepa before, I can't compare it to much, but it was delicious. This place was located inside union market. Which is easy to get to and has free parking or a close walk from the metro.

I love arepas, so I am biased to love arepas. Quick, simple, filling, warm, delightful. I like the Jamon y Queso (Ham and cheese), and the Vegana I had in the past, which was tasty.

I LOVE Arepas. Drove a long way to try this place. If I were trying to make the worst Arepa, this place's Arepa would be a great start. So disappointing.

Got the tequenos here on Friday. They are deadly but amazing. A great Venezuelan alternative to mozzarella sticks and the best part is the cilantro garlic sauce that comes with it. I ordered online and picked up and it was ready when I got there, just had to give them my name. Probably six ounces in one order of five tequenos but very filling.
