I ate here once a day during a conference and the food was a lot better than anything nearby. Also, shout-out to Christian who gave my party seriously excellent service!

While in DC for a convention, I stayed at the Hyatt. Article One bar/Lounge is inside the hotel! It was a meeting place for all of us at the convention to relax after the daily meetings.

The staff, especially Wilson D. was very accomodating and considerate of each of our needs/specific wants. The bar itself isn't very big and the number of people in my group alone was more than the bar could accomodate. We had to move chairs/tables around to have all of us join together in close proximity to one another. The staff didn't seem to mind that we did that.

I'm sure the bills were quite confusing, as well. Each of us was buying drinks for others, some being charged to the rooms, others paying as they go. Some of us wandered off with the bar glasses & other dishes, as well. But, the staff seemed to go with the flow and maintain smiles the entire time we were there.

Having a place to decompress after such heavy meetings was a life saver for many of us. It was nice to not have to leave the grounds, grab a drink with dinner and head right up to our respective rooms!

Any time I'm in DC, I will be ensuring that I stay at this hotel, regardless of where I need to go while there! Absolute perfect first impression!

This was a neat bar. Glad we enjoyed a snack and a couple of drinks here.

The Brown Maple Old-Fashioned is perfectly aligned to be dubbed the American “Baseball Old-Fashioned.” It honestly tastes just like Crackerjacks.

The Rum & Regulation can be oversimplified as a rum old-fashioned. There are some slight differences and it was good.

We ordered Crab Frites to snack on with our drinks. These were good and hot. We’re typically use to Steak Frites so this was a good twist.
The service was good. Multiple bartenders came to our service during our trip. They were all friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere had an upscale vibe and feel. We enjoyed it.

Went on a recommendation it was a good stop for wine and lunch. It's currently under construction. There's no bar, no atmosphere. And went I opened my napkin my silverware was wrapped in a hair! Waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was meh.

Currently operating out of a temporary space on the top floor while there are hotel renovations. Dinner menu is very limited and food quality simply wasn’t good. Burger was overcooked and not served as requested. Service was average. Maybe this place is better when it’s operating in its normal location but right now not worth your time or money.

First, the restaurant was freezing cold, very uncomfortable. Second, I ordered the salmon well done, 1/3 of it was nearly raw, didn’t find until I had eaten half way into it. Could not eat. Very disappointing experience overall.

Great staff. Exceptional food. One of the best cuts of prime rib I've ever had and cooked to perfection. Reasonable prices as well. Highly recommend this restaurant. Breakfast was also outstanding.

Stayed at the Hyatt and indulged in the buffet down stairs, although I loved the food, Christian R. gave amazing service ! He brought us everything we needed and gave us great recommendations on what was good. Not to mention how funny he was, truly kept us entertained all morning and made it a great stay

We arrived at the hotel on March 14th and had dinner and breakfast here every day. Everything had been excellent until tonight, our last night.

I have a 15-year-old teenager, and I knew that the kids’ menu included a hotdog with fries. So, very kindly, they handed him the children’s menu. We were even joking about it when, out of nowhere, the waiter snatched it from his hands and replaced it with the “adult” menu. I was completely caught off guard—I honestly thought he was joking. But when I insisted that my “little boy” wanted to order from the kids’ menu, he responded in a serious and rigid tone, saying it wasn’t allowed, that since he was over 10 years old, the kids’ menu was strictly for younger children—those were the rules.

I have never experience a situation like this, I just have read that kids’ menus may have age restrictions sometimes, but what really bothered me was the way the situation was handled.

Later, I ordered a beer, but since I didn’t have my ID, they refused to serve it to me. That I completely understand and agree with—it’s a logical rule. But the kids’ menu situation? That really annoyed me. For a hotel where everything had been excellent until now, this attitude was truly disappointing.

EDIT: So I did some research, and I think I understand the reasoning behind this rule. I was actually planning to leave my waiter a generous tip—though of course, he didn’t know that. We’ve spent a significant amount of money every night on dinner and breakfast( the hostess, who gave us the kids menu when I ASKED, knew this) , and to be honest, we always leave generous tips. But after what happened—after he took the menu right out of my son’s hands— I ended up leaving only a $2 tip, which was 20% of my son’s dinner.

If he had simply explained the reason behind this rule, I would have been more than happy to pay extra to compensate for the price difference. My son genuinely wanted hot dogs, which are not available on the adult menu, and today he simply didn’t want a bigger portion of food.

This is very overpriced. Service was good and food was ok, but not worth the price.
