I had never had Ethiopian food before. These guys made it a fun experience, teaching me how to eat it without Western cutlery. Food is good and reasonably priced; staff is friendly. Great place!
Technically this is an Eritrean restaurant. But it could accommodate over a dozen Ethiopian RPCVs with partners and kids and was fairly centrally located between all parties. We had a wonderful time. The host was extremely kind and accommodating to us. The only strange part was when we ordered the vegetarian spread it did not come with Shiro - something we never encountered in our years in Ethiopia. We thought it had been an oversight, but apparently not, as the shiro had meat...
Great authentic Ethiopian food and wonderful service! Fish and veggies were fresh, well seasoned, and delicious. Bartender was attentive and very nice and drinks were mixed well. Loved it!
