Great space for shooting pool on 5 8’ Brunswick tables. Very gay-friendly with leagues Monday and Tuesday. Kind bartenders, fun crowd!
Atomic Billiards is a home away from home and a community unto its own. Great bartenders who get to know and treat their regular customers well. Great pool leagues on Mondays and Tuesdays. An excellent annual membership program for frequent visitors. Eclectic clientele. This place has everything you could ask for as both a pool junkie and a lover of all things Dive Bar.
Can't recommend enough!
Play every Wednesday night… cool laid back crowd.. bartenders are cool as the other side of the pillow..

Atomic Billiards is a cool spot for a game of pool or a casual drink. The place has a great ambiance, with an awesome decor that's hard to describe. There are tons of pool tables available, all in excellent condition, with good felt and cushions. The spacing between them is more than adequate, so customers don’t have to worry about interaction with the surrounding tables. The drinks are reasonably priced, and Gwendi is the BEST bartender, providing attentive service. The beer selection is great, especially considering the metropolitan area, and the pricing is reasonable. While the food and bar options are limited, the place is clean and respectful, making it an excellent source to get your pool fix in D.C. Additionally, guests can enjoy shuffleboard and darts, and the music playing is always spot on, featuring 80s and 90s rock. Overall, it's a great place to visit, with a solid 5-star rating.
