Atrium Cafe DC

I wish there was a place like this in Chicago. It is a quick deli that serves fresh meats, fresh soups, typical breakfast & lunch sandwiches, bagels & salads. I was in DC for training for 4 days and came here 2 out of the 4 days. They have a a few pre-selected sandwich options or you can create your own. You can also create your own salad. While n th National Mall in D.C we decided to go to a basement cafe'. The Atrium had a special on BBQ'd pull pork on a bun so I ordered ne and my wife is a Mac and cheese fan so that was her choice. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering the sandwich but as I took my fist bite I knew I had picked a winner. In true southern style there was a layer of coleslaw in the bun as well. This is the perfect place for breakfast and lunch if you're coming from the office, or just in the neighborhood looking for something great to eat. Everything on the menu is made fresh right in front of your face. The meats are fresh made the previous night and carved on the spot. Whole turkeys chickens and roasts.
