😍I have to take a moment to give B. Lin Catering (DC) their flowers—because WOW. They catered my daughter’s Sweet 16, and I’m honestly still thinking about the food. I can’t decide who loved it more: the teenage girls (with their very sophisticated palates, thank you very much 😄) or my husband. The birthday girl felt like a true princess, the sleepover was a hit, and the food? Gone. Quickly. The flavor is indescribable. The chipotle chicken was incredibly tender, and the chimichurri skirt steak literally melted in your mouth. Multiple girls said, unprompted, “This is way better and much more flavorful than Chipotle.” When teenagers agree on something, you know it’s real. It should honestly be a crime to make meat, chips, guac, and corn salsa taste that good. Shout-out to the delivery driver too—early, professional, friendly, and even gave helpful tips on how to set everything up. Those little touches make a huge difference when you’re hosting a house full of teenagers. If you’re in DC and need catering for a birthday, family event, or just because you want your guests to talk about the food long after it’s gone—B. Lin Catering is it. We’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly, highly recommend.

I can’t thank you enough! The entire experience — from planning to execution — was absolutely amazing. The staff loved the food options, and the turkey and lentil tacos were truly the talk of the night. Your suggestion to stagger the menu items throughout the party kept everyone excited and engaged (we love to eat around here!), and it created such a fun flow for the evening.

My senior leadership team is already brainstorming how we can incorporate B.Lin Catering into our next event, so I’m hopeful we’ll have the chance to work together again in the near future.

I also want to give a special shout-out to the onsite staff. From arrival to departure, everything was seamless. They were on time—if not ahead of time—and so dedicated to making sure we were fully taken care of. That level of attentiveness made an enormous difference for us, and we truly appreciated it.

Worked with many different caterers in my event career and B Lin offers a rare kind of service that isn’t mentioned in their menu and it’s the amount of care their leader and Andrea and her team has. Some caterers completely take over a venue but I am so grateful to have worked with such a kind amazing team who stepped in to help me. They left the space spotless, when I dealt with teams that can’t even bother taking out their trash. But not B Lin! The DJ and his assistant kept commenting how good everything smell when I haven’t had a chance to smell anything but was able to enjoy a delicious dinner!

Such a great experience from start to finish! Rena and the team were incredible from my initial outreach with some vague ideas for a milestone birthday party all the way through to the end of the fabulous evening, when they left a house full of happy guests and left the place cleaner than they found it! The process was fun, the communication was A+, and the party was great. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Rena was an absolute delight to work with and I hope there will be more opportunities for collaboration. Rena was professional, attentive, and incredibly creative in finding solutions that ensured top-quality service while meeting our specific needs and didn't compromise on equality. Professional and delicious. Catered my wedding 10 years ago and I still have people asking about the food from it.

We had a 50th Anniversary celebration of Metro Maryland Ostomy Association on Dec. 8, 2024. We chose B. Lin Catering after looking at a couple others that were local deli-type catering. B. Lin has a large, interesting menu so that helped. We ordered for 30 guests: sandwiches cut in half (these halves were very generous), a salad (had 3 to choose from), a fruit tray and a cookie tray, plus drinks.
We had feedback from the guests that they did enjoy the food. One asked about B. Lin since they weren't happy with their caterer.
Natalie had answered all our questions and had some good suggestions. She responded promptly to all my enquires. On the day of the event the food arrived earlier than expected so that was helpful. The prices are very reasonable compared to some cartering companies.
We were very satisfied and will certain use them again.

Natalie took over when things got closer to the big day, and she helped us make sure that all of the final details were covered. Our guests LOVED the food (and we loved the leftovers!). The waitstaff were excellent and things were executed well. The only drawback was the rental situation (a partnership with DC Rental). The styles available in their inventory were somewhat limited compared to other catering companies and rental companies. We didn't want to deal with adding another vendor if we didn't have to, so we tried to make it work with the available styles. Within a week of the wedding, we learned they didn't have the correct number of tablecloths in the colors we had chosen months earlier, so we had to choose replacements sight unseen that ultimately didn't really match the color palette. It was a small thing, but avoidable if the rental company had done the math earlier to give us time to select better options. Just something to be aware of, if rentals are a priority. The food, service, and value were excellent!

We worked with B. Lin to cater for our wedding and we could not have been happier! Arin and Andrea were wonderful - they were timely and responsive, as well as incredibly helpful with planning and coordinating the individual dishes for appetizers and dinner. They worked seamlessly with our other vendors and our event space. They have a selection of menu items that go beyond your typical wedding dinner - we had a ribeye with yucca and plantains, a butternut squash risotto with fried sage, and citrus salmon with cauliflower puree - all incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked! Everyone at our wedding raved about the food afterwards- our only regret from our wedding day was that being the bride & groom meant we didn’t have as much time to eat as everyone else! The most special part for us was that B. Lin was excited to help us plan out custom hors-d’oeuvres that were representative of meals that we had shared together on vacations over the years, adding a unique and personal touch to our wedding.
Our venue allowed us to provide our own alcohol, but B Lin worked a great bar service- we sent our signature drink recipes over a few days before and they were exactly what we wanted, and all the bartenders were super efficient - the staff in general was amazing, speedy, and kept everyone happy the whole night. Highly recommend B Lin Catering!!
