The cupcakes were really good and so was the coffee. This place deserves all the hype. Good service as well.

The cupcakes were excellent, just wish they were open for dessert after dinner in Georgetown.

To order at the counter, give a generous tip on the tip screen and then arrive to your final destination with the wrong order is egregious. (Some of the cupcakes look very similar, so you may not realize it until after you open the box and bite into the cupcake.) This has happened more than once at this location. This could be dangerous for someone with allergies. Please have your cashiers repeat back to the customer what they have ordered before taking payment. Please!

Hands down the best cupcakes in DC. Worth the wait and the price. Coffee and the other sweets are great too!

HORRIBLE experience with the manager TYE! Let me start off by saying I’ve been a loyal customer for 4 years however now that I’ve had two horrible experiences with Tye I doubt Il be returning. Tye could care less about your overall customer experience and is not the least bit accommodating. I work locally and simply ask for my cupcake to be in a box instead of a paper bag so it holds up on my walk back to work. This morning I see an additional.50 charge for the box (first time) the cashier said she would speak to the manager and see if she could take it off for me. The manager TYE comes out and says the only way for me to get a box is to pay the .50 and doesn’t care about my walk back to work. He didn’t introduce himself, doesn’t try to understand where I’m coming from as a consumer already paying $6 for one cupcake that I would like to enjoy without the icing getting all over the bag. He simply shook his head and walked away. Unfortunately I doubt il be returning in the future with leadership like this in place. On a positive note the food is always delicious and the cashier was pleasant Atleast she tried to be accommodating and understanding.. she should be promoted!

Absolutely legit place to grab and go. Two different stores in one place. I tip my hat to these workers for their hard work.

Tried the dirty chai cupcake and it just wasn’t that good… it was dry, the icing was fine but mostly just sweet… I think I may have gotten a bad batch. I am willing to go try something else another day but was disappointed.

Cupcakes are great, but the place feels like the money ran out halfway through renovation.

We are visiting from Az and never just sit and go to a coffee shop but we were recommended to this place from someone who worked at the Barnes & Noble up the street and we could not be more happy with the recommendation. The coffee & the pastries are out of this world plus gluten free and vegan options are a plus. We have been here 3 times and if we lived closer we would be regulars!
