The cupcakes were amazing as usual. I gave service a 2 star because one of the employees decided to loudly tell me to keep moving right several times. My back was to you so I didn't even realize you were talking to me at first, especially since I was already 2/3rds of the way down the counter and was physically ordering when you kept saying it to me. I was speaking loudly already so the woman helping me could hear my order. I shouldn't have to shout my order.

For the record...there were only 7 people behind me, 3 groups of people. If you really wanted the line to move, perhaps you should have helped the next group with their order so there were 2 people fulfilling orders and not just one. And when you told me to have a great day in a sarcastic, overly sugary, voice(as we were leaving)...that didn't help.

I have been a loyal customer here for a while, and am not sure I will go back based on this one employee's rude service today(the other 2 women were great and the cashier apologized which was kind of her). You are definitely not the only cupcake place in DC...or Georgetown for that matter.

What kind of cafe doesn’t have coffee? Their expresso machine broke so they were doing poured cafe, horrible extraction btw, it was a “Colombian” coffee so acid that could burn fabric I swear. Idk they had some problems with the cashier, I guess their paestries are alright and the employees too tho.

Coffee. Pastries. Matcha. What more could you ask for! Everything was delicious and the staff was so so nice.

The cupcakes are great but don’t miss the pumpkin ginger loaf in the cafe area. That is fantastic. The pumpkin spice cupcake was good while they had it too.

WOW. So so good. These cupcakes were bigger than I expected from the pictures. But they have the correct ratio of icing to cake. It doesn't look like a lot of icing but the cake is so moist, not in a greasy way but in a well-made way, that the amount of icing that they put is in fact perfect.
I love carrot cake but I'm very picky about cream cheese frosting, sometimes it is too sweet sometimes two buttery sometimes two cream cheesy, this one was perfect lee balanced with sweetness subtle tang and savoryness.
I also like the strawberry one its very light and cute, I like vanilla satin, the chocolate frosting is so so well done and the vanilla cake is very nice.

As much as I hate to share, this is my FAVORITE cupcake spot in the entire DC/Maryland/Virginia area. They have the perfect cake to frosting ratio. I’ve never had a bad cupcake, cookie, etc.

Just ordered online for pickup on 11/22/25 at 11:44 AM. After helping a customer ahead the employee asked for the name of my order in a disinterested tone. She went back to get the order and when handing it to me I felt brushed off, unacknowledged, and dismissed (head turned all the way to the side and said nothing). Not sure if she was upset that we skipped the line (email confirmation clearly says to - see screenshot) but I felt very confused as to why I got this type of service when the customer before us received friendly service and acknowledgement.

Cupcakes were great! I just did not like how the service made me feel.

I was so excited to come in and try this spot with my family after a recommendation from the local hotel! We drove from NYC and before heading back today (Saturday morning) we made our way in, only to be met with the utmost, disrespectful and distasteful employee I have ever encountered. This employee rolled her eyes, sighed, and made it evident she was annoyed with the fact that we were there. For nearly 7 dollars a cupcake and 75 for a dozen, I expect to be treated as a paying customer with respect. What a disappointment. Train your employees on the importance of customer service, especially with Latina customers.

A great place for cookies, cupcakes, and other sweets. You have to make a quick decision on what you want to get because they start asking what you want right after you walk in if there’s a line. Overall really good baked goods. Highly recommend the lemon crunch bar, great creativity and even better lemon curd. Cookies were solid, got ginger molasses and peanut butter. Cupcakes were nice too, a little pricey though. Super nice area with a little bridge nearby and other restaurants and bakeries. A little hard to find parking.
