My grandma and I are on vacation, we both loved the bakery online. We walked about 10 minutes to get here, once we were here, the cashiers were acting ugly and rude. My grandma had ordered a sandwich and I got a chocolate croissant, they gave me chocolate on the side and a cold croissant. I was very disappointed with the way we were being treated. We asked for salt and they rolled their eyes and continued to talk about us. I would NOT recommend this.

The hostess was professional but hogtied by discriminatory and unreasonable business practices. First, it’s illegal in DC for businesses to not accept cash. When I asked for a refund on my NON CONSUMED purchase. It was pre-baked scone that I didn’t remove from the counter so was never contaminated and wasn’t made to order I was told she didn’t have authority to do that. I wanted to support small business and I live around the corner and will never return. The scone which I ultimately ate because the host insisted she could do nothing for my transaction was bland and not even worth the $4.

I absolutely love the sandwich smoked salmon toast with avocado & marinated tomatoes, the best. A lovely ambiance And the caffe’ - spresso is good 😊! Lo raccomando Grazie Marilisa

Hazelnut oat hot Latte was perfect Vegetarian burrito was delicious and satisfying, came with a salsa side that I wouldn’t normally eat but it was delicious and left that tub empty ? One charger port that I noticed on the far left side.

I was pleasantly surprised when they were open when the maps said they would closed! Espresso is good. I was able to stay for a few hours and get some work done. They have solid WiFi available, strong enough for video calls.

The tinted windows always make it look like it’s closed and they have a lock on the door(I’m assuming for security purposes) that also make it look like it’s locked up. A little light, color, and an open door would save this location. Worried that it’s gonna lead to the store closing, I like their sandwiches and the servers are chill.
Seriously, turn some lights on so people know you’re a. Open and b. A store

This place is awesome! We were visiting our daughter last week and stumbled in while walking in Georgetown. We came back three days in a row for a late breakfast early lunch.
Food and service was great!!! Even the sandwich side little salads were great!
A must stop if in Georgetown! ♥️

I used to love this place and order here 2-3 times a week. I moved away for 1.5 years and now I’m back and can say this place has completely gob down hill. I ordered my usually short rib dish which now comes in an instant be safe contained and looks like it’s been pre prepped and heated to order. Not to mention the entire meal was dry.

Bakers Daughter Ivy city is just a gem. The coffee they serve is unmatched compared to other cafés. It tastes great and gives that energy boost we're all looking for. Also try their Baklava and banana bread. I found out it's made in house by one of their pastry chefs and I think I'll be getting some catered js.

This is a wonderful location, Alex was amazing. He even allowed us to sample the coffee as a courtesy. Very welcoming. Anthony was also very welcoming and made us the best breakfasts. And Alex made us the best coffee. Thank you very much for this 5 star experience.
