My grandma and I are on vacation, we both loved the bakery online. We walked about 10 minutes to get here, once we were here, the cashiers were acting ugly and rude. My grandma had ordered a sandwich and I got a chocolate croissant, they gave me chocolate on the side and a cold croissant. I was very disappointed with the way we were being treated. We asked for salt and they rolled their eyes and continued to talk about us. I would NOT recommend this.

I work in Georgetown I come here often.for breakfast.My two recent experiences were awful and I will not be returning. I tried reaching out to the company and no one responded. My experience, I ordered lunch went inside to pick it up. The cook did not have on gloves. When he noticed me he put on gloves. I was the only one there so I knew it was my order I was concerned , I wasn't sure if I just caught him in the middle of a glove change or did he just put them on for me. I returned the following week to get the same sandwich because it was good. The cook did not have on gloves and continued to make my sandwich without gloves. I asked for a refund,the cashier asked why and I told him because the cook was not wearing gloves. He said you want a refund because of the no gloves I said yes. He told the cook In Spanish and she began laughing. He said she can put on gloves to make it but I refused. I have worked in food for over 20 years I was disgusted. The cook Laughed as my refund was being processed and continued to laugh until I left. I don't think improper food handling and food borne illness is funny.

The portion sizes were on the smaller side, and seating was quite limited, especially for a Sunday brunch. The Shakshuka was definitely the standout among the dishes we tried and the menu offered plenty of vegetarian options. There’s also a restroom available for customers.

Good value for money. ✅ ♿️ Located on a hill but wheelchair acccessible entrance + standard height tables + accessible all gender bathroom. Accepts InKind for payment.
?Friendly Note to Management: by 12:45 on a Sunday, many things were already out of stock (e.g., chocolate crossaints, cookies, orange juice, chips flavors). And the bathroom is very dirty with cabinet doors off their hinges and toilet paper out. And it’s hard to see the baked goods in their current cabinet. Staff was friendly. And you’re ACING that chai tea latte. I’d also grab a side of that braised short rib to go ?

I love the chicken blt and have ordered it a dozen times now, but recently they put up a fake “out of order” sign on the bathroom, which for a place that serves 90% foods that you eat with your hands, isn’t sanitary. Being able to wash your hands before eating a sandwich is essential…. The bathroom works fine, so just ignore the sign and walk in. Hope they change this soon as it seems to only be with the sign to not need to keep the bathroom clean!
