My husband and I had tasting the food at Bandit Tacos and now that is our first option to look for when we’re ordering. Delicious food, fast service and on point delivery. We can’t ask for more.

Great food with very fresh ingredients. The tacos are especially delicious and well prepared. My only negative experience is that they will not take orders by phone and require you to use an Internet app. This should be easily correctable.
We recently had Bandit Taco cater a corporate lunch for 20 guests, and I can honestly say they exceeded expectations. From the moment we placed the order to the final setup, everything was handled with care and professionalism. Their team was communicative, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive to the details, which made the entire experience feel easy and stress-free.
And the food — wow. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The tacos were a huge hit, and the tres leches dessert? Absolutely amazing. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out.
It’s always such a relief to work with a vendor that delivers not just great food, but great service too. We’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

Tried their torta and it was really good. The ingredients tasted fresh and the flavors came together so well. Also got some tacos and they were solid too. Customer service was friendly and welcoming.
I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu. Good spot for a quick bite that actually tastes great.

I order from here often and it’s hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and I’m a connoisseur :) I normally get a few variations of tacos, all delicious but my favorite is the shrimp. I’ve also had their birria tacos which hit too. Last night for the first time I ordered a barbacoa bowl which was phenomenal, the meat was spicy slight sweet melt in your mouth good. Everything was soo fresh I just sat back like wow this is amazing! But I do have a gripe.. I ordered guacamole to be added and it was however my guac had no onions no tomatoes lime or salt so it was more of an avocado mash. I was throughly confused by this because everything is usually on point and for the guac not to be right had me scratching my head. Also…the portion of the bowl was really small and I could count the grains of rice no lie. I’m not a big back but I was still a little hungry after eating which was disappointing. Overall the food here is absolutely delicious I just wished it was a bit more.

I’m Mexican born, so I’m picky when it comes to Mexican food in the US, and have not found many spots like this in the DMV. This spot is GOOD!, and the prices are great.

I love Bandit — it’s been my favorite taco spot in the DMV since I started coming in 2018. I did remove one star this time because I’ve noticed that the tacos have become noticeably smaller this year. I used to order three Baja fish tacos, but now I find myself ordering five just to get the same amount. The tortillas are smaller and protein portions are the most noticeable reduced.
I’m a long-time and reliable customer, and I understand COGs and operating expenses, so I get why adjustments sometimes need to be made. It just feels a little discouraging to pay the same price for noticeably smaller portion sizes.
That said, the food is still great and consistently prepared — I really do love this place. I just wanted to share this as something I’ve been noticing.

This is my go-to takeout spot. Their bowls are generously portioned and the meats are fresh and seasoned well. The sauces explode with flavor. Yuca fries are a great accompaniment. I would recommend the bowls over their burritos, which I find a bit too thick.
Came in close to closing, staff had already started packing up and weren’t overly happy to see us, which, I get — it was late. We were served, my friend wasn’t allowed to use the restroom, but other than that good vibes and a great location. The food was really good!

I’d read so many glowing reviews about Bandit Taco’s breakfast burrito that I had to try it. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment from start to finish.
First off, the breakfast burrito isn’t listed anywhere in the store. When I asked the staff, they just nodded—no explanation, no details. I had to pull up their online menu on my phone to figure it out myself.
When ordering, I asked to try both sauces on the side and even offered to pay extra, but was told I could only pick one. I went with the chipotle sauce, which turned out to be more like a slightly flavored mayo than anything close to salsa. I’m used to a proper salsa with burritos (breakfast or otherwise), so this was confusing and disappointing. Granted, they did say “sauce” and not “salsa,” but mayo wasn’t what I was expecting.
The burrito itself was just… sad. The cheese was freezing cold, which threw off the entire flavor and texture. The potatoes were lukewarm, the eggs were the only component with any real heat (and even that was just “okay”), and none of it was seasoned—not even basic salt and pepper. I get that maybe the sauce is supposed to carry the flavor, but a little seasoning would have gone a long way.
I only managed a few bites before giving up. Having lived in SoCal for a while, I know a good breakfast burrito, and this was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. East Coast breakfast burritos strike again.
I briefly considered coming back to try their lunch or dinner options, but the lack of helpfulness from the staff sealed the deal for me.

I took my team from our martial arts school out here to lunch and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a big order and everything came out perfectly delicious. Shout out to Oscar who made our team lunch outing a great experience.
The steak and egg tacos were amazing. I'm not sure what they put in the sauce but I can't wait to go back and try some of their other options.
