Bandit Taco is hands down the best spot for tacos and burritos in DC! Their Taco Tuesday deals and $8 Burrito Wednesdays are unbeatable. The flavors are incredible, portions generous, and the customer service is always top-notch. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on DC’s taco treasure!

I ordered a burrito from the wrong location and they refused to refund it so that I could order it from the correct one. I lost $16.78 and didn’t get any food. I know it’s technically my mistake but they lost me as a customer. And I eat a LOT of burritos.

I’ve had this place several times and tho the food is great , flavorful i just find it crazy to sell tacos and not included salsa. Today i found a staple in my quesadilla. So i felt i had to write a review. Every time I’ve ordered which i would say this year maybe 10 times and after the first few time it happen i now know to always ask for salsa or you will not b given it even if you ordered tacos. Food is good and fast compared to other places. Staff is always pleasantly dry not mean or cheerful just kinda there doing a job at bare minimum.
— UPdate when we called to tell them about the issue they said it probably fell from when we opened our bag, mind you or bag wasn’t stapled as we order inside the restaurant, then the employee asked for our receipt we told then we weren’t given one and she said “ its common knowledge to grab your receipt for the order number’ but they took his name and callled the customers name when order was ready. Blame the customer 2 times for trying to to point out isssues with our meal.

I had a carnitas quesadilla, but ended up with a grease-fest! The tray was so drenched, I needed a stack of napkins to I absorb it. I let the staff know, but they didn’t seem too concerned. If you’re looking to keep your arteries in check, you might want to give this spot a pass! My boyfriend got a burrito with a ton of rice when he asked for light rice.

When they are on their game it's one of best spots in town. However recently they have roughly halfed the portions on the burrito. Used to be very generous portion but last time it was very skimpy on fillings and just had half the tortilla wrapped on itself due to there being so few fillings.

What a great little hidden gem in Tenleytown! Great, delicious and tasty tacos that don’t hit the wallet too hard. Definitely try the Korean BBQ taco or the Al Pastor taco with pineapple…two of my favorites when I order here. So tasty!!!
Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

I really want to like this place. The people are SO nice. I’ve been here five times. The burritos are 40% plain white rice.This time I specifically asked for light rice. I got a very lightly filled burrito with 40% white rice (see first pic). It’s frustrating when I’m hungry.I stopped buying steak burritos bc I was tired of paying for nonexistent steak (See second pic).
