Bandit Taco is a hidden gem that delivers on every level. The service is friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The menu is unique and flavorful, with a great variety of options that feel fresh and thoughtfully crafted. Every dish is satisfying and well balanced, making it hard to choose just one favorite. The ambience is relaxed and inviting, and the charming little aesthetic adds so much personality to the space. Bandit Taco is the kind of spot you’ll want to come back to again and again.

The quality has gone down a lot from when they first opened and the staff is not friendly. It also takes a long time to get the order. The al pastor taco was decent but the Korean beef was really overcooked.

My biggest pet peeve. Is when ppl speak badly about customers in their language unaware and assuming the person in front of them doesn't know their language. Rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. Esp when handling someone's food. I will never return. CS is important.

Food is great! I've had the barbacoa and Korean beef burritos. Atmospherenis nice, seating area is small, but manageable. I love the free water option and Mexican drinks. Make sure to add sauces to whatever you get!!

I had the al pastor burrito for just $8 (it’s $8 on wednesdays). Pretty good.

I used to frequent Bandit as it’s up the street from a place I work. The last three steak burritos I got from them were rice burritos with lettuce and a few shreds of beef. I kept going back because I gave them the benefit of doubt and figured that if I gave them another chance it would be better. It was not. It was so bad that I’m here to write this.

Amazing breakfast torta (better than the breakfast burrito which is also great), and amazing birria! The Birria quesadilla comes with a consomé. All very good! Mostly take out with a couple of seats inside.

Well, their tacos are pretty good, and their roasted vegetable burrito is quite tasty, but I just ate the most disgusting breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. The eggs were soggy, way too much cream/poblano sauce, and hardly any beans or potatoes. It was edible, but I will never order it again. Nothing compared to the breakfast burritos I had in Texas or Washington state. Now those were a treat. Staff are decent and kind. Sometimes they’re really busy (honestly great for them!) and quality/timeliness suffer. Kinda pricey for a taco joint. These are all judgements made by pre-pandemic standards and by someone who worked for years in the restaurant business. Why lower our standards if we’ve known better? Since the pandemic everything has gone downhill so much or has closed that I’m just happy this place exists, and I hope they stay open. Will definitely continue to eat there (just not from the breakfast menu).

Very authentic and delicious Mexican restaurant. Large menu variety and all types of tacos, bowls, and many more options. The guacamole was fresh and tasted great. Indoor seating is limited but the outdoor seating is decent. Once we put in our order it was quick to come out. Barbacoa was wonderful and the toppings on the tacos were great. Highly recommend for a quick bite.

Bandit Taco is hands down the best spot for tacos and burritos in DC! Their Taco Tuesday deals and $8 Burrito Wednesdays are unbeatable. The flavors are incredible, portions generous, and the customer service is always top-notch. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on DC’s taco treasure!

I ordered a burrito from the wrong location and they refused to refund it so that I could order it from the correct one. I lost $16.78 and didn’t get any food. I know it’s technically my mistake but they lost me as a customer. And I eat a LOT of burritos.
