Came here to meet up with some friends, and because of religion and diet restrictions, they chose this restaurant because it's halal. Being one of the few times actually having halal prepared food I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken definitely tasted much cleaner and better. You dont taste the iron or anything else from the chicken. Very clean tasting. The only meat option was chicken. They also sell fried chicken along with Ramen. The options are limited at this place so do not expect a very big menu. Now, on to the Ramen portion. I have a very, very strict rating scale. I take every thing into consideration. I give the Ramen a fair 5/10. Its very average. Not blow your mind by the depth of flavor or the intensity. I got the spicy miso Ramen and it was slightly spicy. Not enough to make you take a sip of water or anything crazy. I wish they had options on the table itself for you to enhance or add to your Ramen. Not sure if it's something you ask and they bring out but it wasn't mentioned or brought up. The Ramen didn't have much in it besides the chicken, corn and some other stuff. If more stuff was already added and included it would justify the 20$ price for a bowl of Ramen. I would have been happy paying 15$ for the bowl i had received. Having to pay extra for things that should've been in the bowl was a bit crazy. The vibe was good. Be warned. This location is in the heart of Chinatown and it took me well over an hour just to find parking. Paying obscene prices for parking lots or garages around the area is not it.

A bowl that’s more Yankee than Nippon,
Yet hearty and warmly well-done.
It’s not ramen’s deep flair,
But still comfort is there,
A soothing, straightforward run.

For seekers of broth rich and bold,
Daikaya’s the story you’re told.
But this spot’s fair price,
And soup that’s quite nice,
Make value its true vein of gold.

My server was polite, the place was clean. I got my food within 10 minutes of ordering, and the dumplings were amazing. I’ll definitely be returning.

Fried chicken and ramen were delicious, even better than I expected. The service was great too. Awesome spot near Capital One Arena, I’ll have to stop in more often before Caps games.

They prepared part of the meal, but I waited inside for 13 minutes for the rest, and they never made it. At least 10 plates were served for dine-in customers, but the UberEats order was ignored. The staff should understand that online customers have just as much right to get their food on time as dine-in customers, and they shouldn’t mess up the order queue.

If I, as the driver, have to wait an extra 15 minutes at your restaurant and then deliver the food an hour after the order was placed, do you think that customer will ever order from you again?

If you can’t prepare orders on time, don’t accept online orders. I’m not even talking about the 15 minutes of my time that was wasted. They don’t even treat us like human beings. They think we get paid while waiting — we don’t! We wait for free. Every minute we wait, you’re stealing our time.

I hope someone who actually cares reads this

Bantam King is such a fun and flavorful spot—perfect if you’re craving comforting ramen with a twist! The broth was rich and savory without being too heavy, and the chicken was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. I loved the playful vibe of the place, with its bright colors and laid-back energy—it feels like the kind of spot you can pop into for a quick bite or stay and savor. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and everything came out fast and fresh. Definitely one of my go-to ramen spots in DC!

Orders are very limited none of the traditional Japanese ramen accessories are available can't get chicken by it self things that supposed to be inside the ramen You have to pay for it separately....... yeah? This spot needs to do better compared to the other ramen spots around the city especially having prime real estate right next to the stadium. Oh and don't let me forget to tell you about the small portion that you get for big prices

Service can be a bit slow, but I think that could be a testament to their popularity. Even in off peak times, this place has happy diners. They have the crunchiest, most delicious fried chicken in the city, and the ramen slaps too. Don’t forget to try the gyoza too (it’s hard to go wrong with gyoza, but their sauce is pretty memorable).

Came here on a rainy weekend for lunch, was a cute cafe. Very impressed by the service, was super attentive and timed perfectly, friendly as well. The serving sizes are pretty large, would stick to one main to begin with.

Good food and quick service. But $36 for good ramen; small gyoza; and a sickly sweet, tiny iced tea.
