Bar Charley is a popular spot for delicious food and drinks in DC, a fantastic lunch location, and a great place for a Friday night out. The Charley burger is phenomenal, and the burger is also highly recommended, with one of the best burgers you’ve had. The restaurant offers a cozy bar and a lovely outdoor heated patio, making it a great choice even in colder months, and they like their outdoor patio. Happy hour is a good option with a nice atmosphere and attentive service, despite slightly higher prices. The dinner menu is on the pricier side. Customers have praised their experiences, highlighting exceptional service and the bottomless brunch as a treat, and they most recently did the bottomless brunch. The Catalan Fries are a favorite starter to share, and they loved that they brought pomegranate juice for mimosas. The staff went out of their way to celebrate a birthday after overhearing table conversation – it was a super sweet and flawlessly executed surprise that charmed them. Drinks are excellent. Food too! It’s very cute, they have good non alcoholic drink options. Good: The truffle tots and Vietnamese hericot vert almondine.
