I took my wife to La Vie for her birthday and it was exactly what you expect from an upscale spot. The location at The Wharf is beautiful. Right on the water with views that make the whole night feel elevated from the moment you walk in. Inside, everything from the decor to the atmosphere feels refined and put together. It set the tone perfectly for a special occasion. The food and drinks were excellent. Everything tasted great and was presented well. My wife loved it, which made the night even more worth it. It really felt like a proper birthday celebration. Only minor issues, service took a little longer than expected to come back and take our order after drinks, and even though I mentioned it was her birthday, the dessert took about 30 to 45 minutes to come out. Still, those were small things compared to the overall experience. If you are looking for an upscale dinner with great views and a strong atmosphere, this is definitely a place I would recommend and come back to.
Here's your updated, polished review with that added in: ⸻ Overall, the ambiance of the place was really nice—it's a very pretty spot. The service was decent; our server was friendly, but nothing particularly stood out or felt exceptional. The mimosas came out closer to room temperature rather than chilled, which was disappointing since sparkling wine should be served cold. As for the food, I ordered sunny side up eggs with a medium rare steak. The steak initially came out medium well with no pink at all, and the eggs were overcooked. They looked sunny side up at first glance, but once I cut into the yolk, it was fully cooked through. I sent the steak back immediately, and when it came out the second time, it was closer to medium. There still wasn't much pink, but it was an improvement from the first attempt.
I would go back to La Vie as many times as I can. The staff was great and the food was outstanding. Thank you for a great experience.
We had a blast and I will always come back.that was my second time going there.my dream is for me and my wife to use the penthouse.with the ball.i did make a reservation for the penthouse but we was giving a table outside the penthouse how
Had a wonderful time. Great service fromt he staff. Great energy. Look forward to attending again.
The brunch is not worth the money. The food is not very good. You are going here for the view.
I had dinner reservations for my 61st birthday with my husband at 6pm on a Tuesday. That day and time was perfect. As we entered in the building we stepped into a lobby with a beautiful young lady that verified our reseverations and offered to take some quick photos. Then she put us on the elevator to go up where the we will be dining. Oh my goodness, the ambience was beautiful, it was daytime so we could see the scenary very clearly. The decor is breathtaking, definately get your camera out as soon as you enter. The bathroom was so cute, I snapped pictures where ever I could. The appetizer was delicious hummus and lamb, the cocktails where fancy and yummy. The food was great but I would tweek some things but to each its own. I think the dessert options need to be better/improve, especially if you are vegan. I would return and make this a well talked about place to dine. Fantastic place to celebrate any occassion. The attention and service was outstanding... Brilliant, Thank you so much, Gail and Kevin Reed
Ricardo O. was SPECTACULAR and extremely attentive. He was accommodating and offered alternatives. He was fantastic. The view was wonderful. The decor was elegant and the vibe was welcoming and eclectic. My ONLY note is the location and decor of the bathroom. It's a strange location. You have to pass so many doors to reach it and other than the privacy offered-the stalls and bathroom motif doesn't match the ambiance of the rest of the restaurant. But that's minimal compared to the fantastic experience.
The brunch menu options, food and service were very good. It was a bit more expensive than it could/should be. The cost (per person) for enjoying the bubble experience is way too expensive. A better value would be a flat rate and fixed menu options for the bubble usage, and if guests want to add on; that's their option and their cost increase. Overall. I will absolutely be dining at LaVie again, but next time, I will try the lunch or dinner menu.

I think it's over priced. I ordered the surf and turf. The surf came back cold. The service was excellent! I probably will not be back.
Celebrated my birthday at La Vie 🎉✨ Amazing food, incredible service, and our waiter was so kind and attentive. The staff are warm and polite, the ambiance cozy, and we loved every moment. Totally satisfied!
Hello! Came here for the Happy hour menu on a Saturday. Just FYI that you can only order food from the HH menu AT THE BAR. The oysters and the hummus plate were delicious! Very upscale restaurant so dress to impress!
It's a wonderful place, but a bit pricey. The food was good, and the atmosphere was friendly.
Very nice space with great views. Food was good but not spectacular for the price. The 20% service charge is truly annoying and not explained. It came as an unwelcome surprise. Oysters and fish were the highlights. Fish and scallops cooked well.
