This place cannot been trusted. They bring their rate low, and then asking for your credit card and withdraw $100 or more for security deposit and make extra charges without receipt.

Hola. Reservamos este hotel a través de Booking desde el 2 al 9 de enero de 2020. Al llegar quisieron cobrarnos u$s 580.- de más por si destrozábamos el hotel. Obviamente me negué y busqué otro hotel. Liliana Couto.

Douglass was very helpful with accommodating us.. stayed here many times before and this was the first time someone actually were helpful. He deserves a promotion. Exceptional performance and customer service., as well as satisfaction.

I booked a room here for a bachelorette weekend, in August. at check-in I asked the front desk if they had any special accommodations for the event. She said that they didn't give special accommodations, but that they do offer a complimentary wine cocktail hour in the evenings before dinner. being that we were just arriving not long before the cocktail hour she offered to have two bottles of wine sent to the room for us as we settle in. Sure enough within minutes of getting to our room, two bottles of wine arrived. We continue to receive great service from the staff members the entire weekend, which made this day even better. The location couldn't be better. Being that is extremely close to the National Mall, straight down the street from the White House, and just around the corner (walking distance) from 14th Street. Which is where all the best restaurants are located. It's a smaller hotel compared to some of the bigger names, but they still have all the amenities that should be expected.

I'm an IHG Platinum member and booked a room at the Kimpton Rogue for a last minute trip to Washington DC. The room and entire property is awful. Totally dated and does not feel clean. The front desk staff were nice but the condition of the property was just too much to bear. I found another last minute hotel room at a fraction of what I pre-paid at this Kimpton. Totally disappointed in a completely subpar Kimpton property

Very disappointing stay. When booking, I was excited about the bar, happy hour offer, and complimentary wine service. The decor and location looked pretty great overall from the pictures. Took me awhile to check-in but the staff was nice. I went down to try and catch the wine service, but the lobby was full of people checking-in or getting their own wine, that I didn't get a chance to grab a glass - which was actually just plastic cups and grocery store wine. Went back to my room. Went back down for when happy hour was supposed to start, but the bar was closed. Closed on the same night of Game 7 of the World Series? Why? I was told in return I could order up to my room free of a delivery charge. Yes, thank you for waiving a ridiculous $8 delivery charge to bring my $15 entree to my room. It would literally have been cheaper (and better) to order UberEats or Grubhub. I just went to my event early and ate/drank there. The next morning I found a receipt that had been thrown under my door (that was weird), showing me a $25 amenity charge. For what? I asked the front desk and they said it was for the wine (which I couldn't get), driving service (which I listened to the "concierge driver" haggle a boomer in the front lobby into paying him anyway, disgusting), the complimentary breakfast plus coffee and tea service (which was no different from a Super 8 breakfast), and for "unlimited long distance calls" (WHO NEEDS THIS "AMENITY" IN 2019 LMAO). And once again, the bar was never open - one of the main reasons I chose to stay here. I'm fully expecting to argue over shady charges over the next week per other comments made here. Overall, it's a Motel 8 with clique decor - that charges you extra fees.

Verdict: Thought this would be a great staycation location...I was wrong! Skip it if you want to treat yourself! What's awesome: -the size of the room Not impressed with: - the decor (very outdated) - maintenance (broken elevator and hole of drywall missing) - size of the shower (they know why we're here- cmon!) - iHome for iPod 4 and no aux cable - No premium channels or movies to rent Confused about: - the bar that was closed all weekend - room service that ends at 10pm on weekends - $25 amenities fee... for what amenities?

Buyer Beware I booked this room for my son, he's younger and likes to party so I thought this room might be okay. I stayed at the Marriott Marquis, around the corner. I arrived to leave my credit card for payment. The lack of curb appeal was so shocking my husband felt compelled to accompany me in. The engagement with the front desk was okay, the lobby was dark and creepy, it felt like it might be nasty dirty. I wanted my son to decide if it was acceptable and THEY DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS - BUYER BEWARE. My thoughts - let's see how he feels about it, we have room for him around the corner if he does not like it. My son used the room primarily for sleep. He was leary about the look and feel of the lobby but he said the room was fine, the decor was weird. It was only for one night. He was fine. They did not send a detailed bill/receipt and this you cannot engage this hotel via the Holiday Inn app, although you can book the hotel via the app. I take that as a sign and will not book a hotel that has limited engagement through an app going forward. IT IS A SIGN. This hotel is 1-star for me. I gave it 2-stars because my son was okay with it. My best advice: Buyer Beware

This hotel was a total positive during a trip that was expected to be chaotic and stressful for me. The staff was nice, always helpful and the wine offered as you enter in the evenings is a really nice amenity. The room was spacious and best for me they were very PET FRIENDLY. Had one issues with the toilet flushing properly when I first arrived but they were quick to resolve the issue. Good location but overnight parking fee is a beast!

Hidden fees upon hidden fees- resort fees (57), amenity fees (25 a night)- not disclosed on the online checkout total, just tacked on to the fine print on the receipt in your email. You also pay taxes on all of those fees. Basically a big sad red and black motel that gets you coming and going.

After my stay I discovered two fraudulent charges on my credit card for about $55. When I called to ask about them, I was told one was a minibar fee, although I did not take anything from the minibar and in fact did not even have the key to it. The other charge I was told was a fee associated with the reservation. However, my reservation was made with a different, corporate card. I provided my own card upon check in only for incidentals and was explicitly assured that nothing else would be charged to it. Any fee associated with the reservation should not have been placed on my personal card. Maybe it's possible that both of these charges were honest mistakes, and when I called to inquire I was assured that I would be refunded, but I found this to be very shady, or at the very least, unprofessional. If you decide to stay here, check all of your charges and your credit card statement very carefully. For what it's worth, I also found a cockroach in my room. Would not stay here again.

I will never come here again. Air conditioner doesn't work, The bathroom is super small, room service sucks, parking is $47 a night, Continental breakfast sucks, if you want bacon and eggs you have to pay for it. The gym is horrible, and the hotel looks really creepy.
