Usually eat here once a month. Tacos and beer. Margaritas are always good. Great atmosphere. The music is a little loud sometimes but I think that’s the vibe the are going for.

Despite there being a Bartaco near me in VA.. definitely favor this location more! Had a funny server which enlightened the mood & my food was delicious. It was beautiful the day I went and I love the outdoor seating area.. I could just relax and unwind.

We really enjoyed eating lunch here. The weather was perfect!!! I had the glazed pork belly rice bowl. When I say it was delicious, please believe it!!! The pork had a sweet glaze and the veggies were pickled. Together with the rice and cilantro was perfect!!! I would 100% eat there again.

Ordered takeout lunch. Food was mixed: esquites were delicious but cost over $10 for a “large” (actually a half filled large container that amounted to a side). The shrimp bowl was pretty flavorless, also small (though it cost about the same as the corn, so apparently the size was reasonable), and did not come with the side sauce I picked that was supposed to be included. Plantains were great—no complaints there. I know restaurants in this area are pricey but I do expect to at least get the food I paid for.

Wonderful atmosphere and amazing food! We tried almost all of the taco flavors, all were amazing! The pork belly was our favorite. Service was amazing and the food was brought out quickly. There were lots of gluten free friendly options as well. We will absolutely be back if we are ever back in town!

Great food and drinks as always and (expected!) for Bartaco. But unfortunately this location has subpar and extremely slow service. This was my first time not sitting at the bar and I’m not sure what to say except it took way too long to get our drinks, and food was even slower. For the price, this should absolutely be better. Good news is, when it came out everything was delicious.
Edit: Unfortunately, I reached out and no one ever responded. So take that as you will for the impact on the review, but mine still stands.

cute tourist trap, but very sad how this place went down hill. Used to be a vibrant, fun spot with yummy food, good drinks and amazing service.
today, service gives “Soviet Russia”, food quality deteriorated to taco bell quality (but not the prices), place is half empty at “full capacity,, but still can’t keep up… they seem to be going the way of their city vista location in DC. Very unfortunate. Used to love coming here.

Having tried a number of the NOT modestly priced restaurants at The Wharf, we've pretty much sworn all of them off (except for MiVida).
Among the relatively few reasonably priced restaurants at The Wharf, bartaco is among our faves. We've been there a number of times, and the food and drinks are always very good. Additionally, the staff is awesome. It's always nice to go to a restaurant which hires staff who truly seem to care, as opposed to merely having warm bodies who half the time aren't even paying attention to customers.
Our most recent visit was this past week. Everything was as described above. However, I want to give a special shoutout to the manager Dominique, who went the extra mile to help us address a frustrating issue we had been having with a gift card given to us by a family member. Thanx again!

Food and drinks were good but don't expect to enjoy them at the same time. Our drinks didn't arrive until we were ready to close the tab. Would have been nice if the server acknowledged that it was less than ideal but her aloofness kind of made it worse

This was our last stop on our week trip to DC. The tacos were all fantastic and the best by far was the Pork Belly. The drinks were fantastic, and their selection was amazing.
Great spot on the Wraf. Great view of the river and the night life. Would highly recommend!!
