The night I went, there was literally one person taking orders, working the bar, and bringing out the food. Food is pricey to be mid.

The Ethiopian waitress lady was very nice. Caesar salad was bad. Portions are super tiny. Chicken was great, though literally 200 grams. Dessert brought to me was not fresh and was sent back to the kitchen. Overall I would not spend $$ here.

I was hosting the beacon hotel, attended with my family for the breakfast and the service was rude, so I decided not to tip with 18 % but with 15%. Waiter and manager forced me to change the amount of the tip claiming the system could not be changed and food was good. I work in service and I never have forced anyone to tip me, I prefer to earn it!!!!

Food was overpriced and overcooked. Place was empty and there were cobwebs on our booth.... pretty off-putting. Mimi, the server was attentive, very friendly and tried her best to make our experience the best it could be. Will not eat here again. That said, best dry chicken wings I've had in quite some time(get the sauce on the side) Do not get the ribs....

I highly recommend this place if you are staying at the hotel & don't want to drive anywhere. You will get overpriced food, but it won't be terrible. There is nothing special about the ambiance. It's a hotel bar. The service is friendly, but don't expect to be treated well for paying $20 for a ceasar salad. I have nothing negative to say, but also nothing special to say either. Eat here if you must & it'll be fine, but definitely don't go here if you're walking through downtown. Walk a few more blocks & find something better...

Well what a disappointment. Had to wait for ten minutes before anyone came to the entrance (where I’d been directed to wait by a server) and then the not inexpensive American breakfast involved the world’s smallest sausages, over cooked fried potatoes and dry toast. I should have left the hotel and found a good quality diner where I sure I would have had a far better start to my day.

My mom and I stayed at the Beacon Hotel and went to the restaurant for dinner. Except for another couple, the place was empty playing 80s very loudly. The burger was okay, fries were cold. The restaurant needs some serious remodel, wallpaper peeling, rugs dirty- front reception desk not staffed. The server was nice - she was the only redeeming quality. We won’t be back.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly. Elevator not working - got there over a non friendly sidewalk. Doors aren’t auto and one of the double doors was locked, so difficult to maneuver.

The food is good, especially the salads and ravioli dish. Service is good too and the waiter is nice. The ambiance is good with lots of windows and open space.

My ribeye was cold when it came out. I kept having little gnats land on my plate while I was eating. I asked the server for a Michelob ultra in which she said they didn't have any. I asked for a light beer and she said we don't have a light beer but we have this and handed me a Michelob ultra. It's entirely possible she just didn't understand me but it was weird. I ended up eating at the bar because you can't eat on the rooftop bar. I wanted to go up to the rooftop bar after in which they told me no because they weren't busy enough. It was an hour and a half before close on a Friday night. My food was absolutely not worth the price. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the fries were super yummy.

It was many years ago since I've been here not really sure if they made past the pandemic to reopen. The menu was very plentiful. I am a fan buffet style restaurant. Eggs white omelette assorted waffles and different kinds of meat options.

One of the best brunch spots in the DC area! The food is always delicious and the Mimosas are DEFINITELY Bottomless!!..

This place may be very likable. You do not need to marry it but it's amusing to flirt with it every from time to time. This become the primary non-buffet fashion brunch i've been to right here. The fee changed into decent sufficient at 36 greenbacks consistent with individual. That did include unlimited mimosas and a 3 path meal. Do now not order the bread baskets! it is now not the carb heaven you watched it is. See photo. So shifting past the appetizers uninteresting you loss of life with their oats and salads, permit's move directly to the actual deal Holyfield. That mom effin chook waffles is manner too good! I mean blast my taste buds in too area due to the fact not anything else on the earth may also ever evaluate. The shrimp seemed suitable but I did no longer order it because it only offers tacos. I suggest who only eats tacos, it's as a minimum 3 minimal. The wasteland turned into meh. the ambience changed into easy however felt very humid and a little too heat.
